All dominoes will have fallen by Sunday, that's for sure. OU and Miami are the next two big dominoes to fall....and likely include Oregon in that.

Imo Lane would absolutely DOMINATE in the Pac-12, even with Lincoln Riley at USC. Just a matter of whether he would rather coach in Norman or Eugene, as it seems like a long shot at best that he will be in Coral Gables

The "Narrative" is Mario is a done deal already and Rad was on board during his hiring process... At least that's how it appears... I mean if Mario is announced tomorrow or Monday it would be kinda obvious how this was played... But we'll see... anything is possible...

Perhaps, and that would be pretty stupid, in my opinion. If you want a puppet to rubber stamp who the BOT wants, why the **** take Clemson's AD to do so? I'd much, much rather kick several tires before settling on the one the used car salesmen at UM want to sell. Mario is not the best coach out there, and if his name was Barry Muhnuggets from Tennessee, we would all hate the idea of him coming in without a real search.

Everyone *****ed about Miami focusing on one coach. Now that it is Mario, where are those complaints?

I don't think you get to **** around and host a Head Coach search at this point if you want Cristobal.

It's dragged on long enough. He'll want to get out recruiting for whichever team he's employed by next week.

So, they are dragging their feet so they can make a rushed hire, and have an excuse built in. Just perfect.

Why are some obsessed with a linear progression; Miami hires AD, AD fires Manny, AD hires HC? Why is an AD of Rad’s reputation assumed to be a “puppet“? These three actions can all be done (almost) at once, as a package…

Same to you, but Riley is already starting to build a top recruiting class, and they will only get better. Same for Mario, BTW.

Oregon requires national recruiting. I don’t see Lane as a HC who would recruit well enough to keep up with USC. He may beat Riley once in a while, like Mike Gundy did in the Big 12. Matt Campbell beat OU twice.
