Its all of their decisions, they will be going to school, living in the city, have to go through the good and bad days nobody can force him into a school. I just want kids to be humble and smart, do research and not just trash another college unless they take personal jabs at him because it puts the player, the parents and his coaches in a bad light also. Lane did none of that so I have no issue with him and I wish him the best regardless

Yeah I haven't either had a problem with him either, but if he comes to the BBQ only to commit to UF the next day then thats a **** move.

Key factor, will the mom be there? Maybe im wrong but she seems to be a humbling side to Lane and keeps his head in the right place. I don't think she'd allow that especially with Barrow on the staff already who she trust so this will get interesting

Sounds like he realized he couldn't get free BBQ if he committed to UF on Saturday. Same for Lammons.

This isn't completely true.
 
Derrick Griffin is basically a part of the 2014 recruiting class for us now..... so if u consider him a WR, then we already got D. Langham. then how many other receivers do Miami really need in this class?? I'm thinking 2 if you arent certain about Griffin....

So out of E. Lane, T. Rudolph, J. Dixon, and B. Berrios, who brings something different to the table aside from what Griffin and Langham would bring???.... IMO that would be T. Rudolph, J. Dixon, and/or B. Berrios.

That's why i'm really not interested in Lane regardless.... if he ends up coming to Miami, then cool, but if he doesnt, water under the bridge to me.

Lane is not .. "whatever we don't need him"

if we want to win NC's we need local talent like this to stick around.

he is going to UF that is a fact...it could of been worse though..he could of ended up at FSU

Maybe he just loves BBQ. In that case he'll probably go to UNC. LOL
 
its august, when we show out this year and everyone and their mother is wearing a duke johnson jersey in south florida, some of these kids will take a harder look at miami.. he's been a florida lean for a while, when he commits dont go bashing him on social media.. let the kid work it out, let the coaches recruit with the success of the 2013 season and he will come home to roost

My thoughts is this... The only reason Golden & crew have seem to lose contact was basically because he didnt show the will to compete if you'd wouldve asked 2 months ago i bet Lane was #1 on the chart not Dixon but dixon decided to compete at camp not Lane and that bumped Dixon up. That's the only reason i see everyone on the roster now competes and thats whats Golden about the team this year everyone is fighting to prove not sitting there waiting to be given anything if Ermon wouldve competed in 1 on 1 drills im pretty sure the coaches would still be on his d!ck but he just watched like a fan and we have no time for that everyone offered in the summer fought for an offer thats the only reason i can conclude to why the staff hasnt contacted him... Only time will tell... I still want him maybe coley waters and lewis can teach him a thing or two about work ethic cause all of our receivers are hungry working hard to get to the next level fvck a handout

i understand that Lane is a beastly talent so im not trying to dismiss him on that note... it's just like I said, Derrick Griffin is more of a physical freak then Lane is and Langham is a stud as well.

As far as local talent is concerned.... i doubt that missing out on Lane makes our chances of winning NCs much more difficult.... Miami grabbed the best receiver in Florida last year and next year and so on there will always be another opportunity to land another "ermon lane" in terms of talent.
 
Lol him not talking to barrow. Aren't they are related lol. I don't think I've gone months without speaking to a relative that's in the same city as me
 
I hope this kid doesn't defecate on UM by showing up at the BBQ and then announcing a commitment to UFag the next day. I hope The Don doesn't permit that to happen.

Also guys miami is not in the runnihg for rudolph that is a fsu,uf,bama battle the ship sailed for him when he decommited.
 
good luck to the kid he didn't play games with us like "6" did last year so im happy where ever he goes so i wont like him if he chooses Florida but i will not be mad either if it was a stud DT that's a different story.
 
If Lane comes to Miami, we will all be very happy. If not, he becomes a nameless, faceless enemy. End thread?
