I say this partially tongue and cheek, but it feels a bit like Lane could have a similar trajectory here to the turnover chain. Big splash initially with good, possibly even great results in the short term (not necessary a bad thing). But if things go downhill it could get ugly fast, with a very cringey downside.

Lane Kiffin is a low character individual. I don't care that he runs a top offense. He will leave us hanging and out to dry the first chance he gets or if any adversity comes his way.

Hard to argue but the bar for low character individuals coaching major college programs is so low. There are lots of bad human beings coaching kids because they know how to win and to 98% of fans and admin that is all that matters.
