What did Lane say here (or throughout the process) that was wrong?


There are no victims here, certainly not Lane. We don’t know how it all went down on either side, and like you said breakups are messy.

LSU has a higher ceiling in a lot of ways and can probably draw better assistants anyway. It’s not a forgone conclusion he’d want to just transfer the entire staff over. He’ll be just fine. Ole Miss is going to be back to 10 wins 4 times every 50 years like their pre-Lane self.

I’m sure they said they would. It would appear that the opportunity to win a natty matters to him and the ability to do that is at LSU more so than Ole Miss.

20-4 the last two years usually gets you an ACCCG - it's been a freak occurrence due to the new scheduling.

Can’t argue with you on the schedule. Didnt they have to go to overtime to beat Wash State at home? And maybe he did know that deep down. But Personally I dont think there’s a dominant team this year. And they were going into the playoffs with a home game and a healthy roster. After the games I had to stomach the last 3 weeks, no one scares me and everyone looks beatable. Those are pretty **** good odds to not pusue imo.

Unless your name is Meyer or Saban, I don't think any coach can claim to be able to get the LSU / Bama / UGA or Ohio St jobs.

Mate, he's left on the verge of the Playoffs and he's told every single staff member "If you're not on this plane with me, we're done".

If you can't see that he's being a **** there then that says a **** of a lot about you.

He's completely shafted that Ole Miss team. They basically have no O coaches left and the AD has panicked, trying to keep their team together, and Manny Diaz'd his HC hire.

Where the **** is that interview? Looks like it's outside a 1940s prison. If that's Oxford, holf ****, run. Honestly, this interview actually made me feel pity for Kiffin, but lol at God telling him to go Baton Rouge. There's not a god in the heavens telling anyone to go to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I would be calling up a synagogue or mosque at the point for a second opinion
