Imagine what this POS was like as a child? I hope he got beat up a lot as a kid. Not like Pat Haden spanking him on the run way or Saban doing it on the sideline on National TV. I’m talking Michael Westbrook beating on Stephen Davis type beating. One can always hope.

Lane had to get a half dozen state troopers to approach the kid reporter who called him a hoe. Then the kid reporter didn’t back down, barked back at Lane and Lane COMPLETELY *****ED OUT and could only say “I don’t even know who you are.” His wit was all he had and he’s completely lost it.
 
This an embarrassment for college football & especially the vaunted SEC. Can’t believe Commissioner Sankey hasn’t stepped in & stopped the food fight.
 
In understanding the amount of back channeling that goes on in sports across all levels I gots zero sympathy for Ole Miss. Teams “check the temperature” with other coaches all the time with the position currently occupied…with full intention of firing the present coach at the end of the season.

These schools can and will “hang on” to coaches when it serves them but God forbid someone wants to finish the job for the season. There ain’t no loyalty in CFB that’s why they get these high salaries, with great buyouts. No one needs to play the victim here.

If I was an ole miss fan I would be ****ed. Not only are you leaving, you have a new landing spot secured while taking our staff, while at the same time now ole miss is way behind the 8-ball for a new coaching search.

Agreed. This isn’t a pro Mario thing either I wasn’t thrilled about him

But Lane would have left us high and dry with no foundation at some point and that’s the last thing we needed
