Butch and the FIU gang totally punked us in 2019.Mtsu boat raced was far worse. Smu is respectable.
Last years loss to cuse up 21 to 0 is by far the worst.

This season is not over yet…That loss was barely top 5. It might have been the most predictable one though.

what an awful game, 7-8 turnovers?Duke 2022 is his worst loss at Miami IMO.
'22 MTSU @ home? (ranked #25)
'22 blown out by FSU at home?
'23 GTech to kneel or not to kneel? (ranked #17)
'24 GTech & a one armed QB? (ranked #4)
'24 Syracuse 21-0 collapse? (ranked #8)
4/5 coming as a Top 25 ranked team to an unranked team, the other is a rivalry game we didnt show up after kickoff.
'25 SMU is another notch on the resume. Could make his Top 5 though (at Miami).
Why is that ok? We got some fortuitous TOs vs ND, really were dominating them into the 3rd and they Still had ball in hand with a chance to win. Similar to UF in terms of domination and they had the ball in the 4th quarter with the chance to take the lead.its what david lake said - it makes sense in week 1 against ND or in the rain against UF. when youre 8 games into the year, doing the same **** over and over and trying to ball control your way to zero doesnt work.
GT 2023
MTSU 2022
Syracuse 2024
All without a doubt worse losses.
GT 2024 and NCST 2023 could make the argument as well but I won’t debate those. Those first 3 though, it’s not even close.
Throw in the fact it was to our former OC who wasn't even considered for this job. Not saying I wanted him, but it's a bad look. The worst losses for me are the ones against an opponent you should beat, that costs the program dearly.
GT 2005
Clemson 2009
Pitt 2017
Syracuse 2024
The SMU loss is both costly AND was a ridiculous collection of ineptitude and failure, so you can add it to the list.

According to these cucks its MTSU, but i digress. What’s our best loss fellas?
Agreed. Still, of all the coordinators we had that might have been a decent hire, it was him.He had taken the SMU job before we fired Manny. Also the optics of hiring another first time HC former coordinator from a failed staff right after they take a G5 job probably didn’t sit well with anyone.
there are so many. we sanewashed the first season meanwhile manny took that roster and went 7 games over 500 in the same ****** conference (except clemson was good then)what an awful game, 7-8 turnovers?
didnt even remember that for this. what a run so far #fiziKOOL
Jeremiah SmithWhat’s our best loss fellas?
the worst was they telegraphed any time they would throw bc of that (they would use haynes in the run game and their backup when they were in a down and distance obvious passing down)GT 2024, Their QB could not use his throwing arm and we still lost.
or
MTSU but I remember the excuses here that MTSU had players that could play at Bama. EMbarassing fan base.
Don’t even put that out in the universeIf you ask Mario he will tell you the team is going in the right direction.Get 10 wins 3 year extension and 2M raise.
theyre definitely extending him if he hits 9 wins this year. you can bet your *** on thatDon’t even put that out in the universe
