Lamar Thomas WR Coach

1st thought that comes to mind is **** no. How many former players have been successful here?

Anyone know how he did at UK? I know he helped develop Devantae Parker at UL who absolutely abused us in 2013.

I know he was pivotal to getting some of the real talent there at Kentucky.

If Manny is looking at bringing in a guy like Fedora you get out of the way and let him pick his own guys.

Obviously had a tremendous impact on DP at Kentucky, because he fell of the map with the Dolphins, maybe should have been a Dolphin hire

Did OK at UK after Stoops hired him but was let go after the 2017 season. Stoops owed Bear Mangino a favor and promoted his son when he did not renew Lamar's contract. Has a fighting chance if Dugans is out.

No coach (not one iota) is letting a great coach go to payback a favor owed. Just like you said he did ok. No thanks. He doesn't exactly have to schools fighting for his services.

Manny doesn't strike me as the "bring back former players as coaches" kind of guy, even IF those players have coaching experience.
