Lamar Jackson vs Pats

I would believe that if they had an complete offense around him, but they don't. They have 1TE and 1WR and that's it. They will pile rushing yards but freeze in the RZ, I like Lamar and I'm hopeful he becomes a star just to shut up the "He should play WR" crowd, but he still has ways to go as a passer.

People can cry about Lamar and Bridgewater, but those kind of misses happen to any program, maybe we as the local team should have had a leg up on the rest of the nation, but EVERYBODY missed on those guys

Bridgewater and his family loved former coach Shannon and he was actually hurt by him being let go by the Univ of Miami . He told me himself one time during camp I use to run back down south. Call me crazy if you want to but his grandmother knew Shannon family from back of the day. So the next closest thing was coach Strong w/ his familiarity approach about life and football . Take it for what it was worth.

The Ravens don't bow down to the Patriots like most teams so hopefully it's a good game (aka Pat's ******* lose). Pat's haven't played anyone but the Ravens d is suspect for once, so it should be interesting.

That actually makes me feel better as an UM fan, he got his feeling hurt because Shannon was fired, it's his right, but UM couldn't keep Shannon just because Bridgewater. Both sides made the decision they felt they should

I always thought Jacory Harris would have made a nice Spread QB also. He wasnt fast, but he could pick up the 1st down on read option. We should have had a run of Geno Smith, Teddy Bridgewater, Lamar Jackson all running the Spread. That's what my Hurricanes did in NCAA Football! 🤣

Lamar had a questionable throwing motion and accuracy in high school and college. Even his combine and pro day sessions were sketchy, so any coach looking for a QB first guy, even a dual threat, may have been turned off by that.....and you can’t judge a guy for that with so many other options out there. For every Lamar, these endless high school guys like him that never amount to anything in college.

Also, I saw stats of his 40 time and shuttle both being around 4.8 in HS. If true, that doesn’t show elite running measurables to offset the throwing risks.

Agreed! He should of had a little bit of patience on his end but it was his/ family decision. Quite honest it wasn't a bad decision ALTHOUGH He could of revamped the University of MIAMI.

He totaled Louisville with 3,523 with 28 touchdowns and only 4 interceptions, the second lowest interception total amongst the top-10 passers in terms of yardage in the country. Big east Offensive Player of the Year 2013 I HATED THAT WE PLAYED LOUISVILLE IN THE RUSSELL ATHLETIC BOWL.... HE TORCHED US -he completed 35 of 42 passes for 447 yards three touchdowns and was named the game's MVP.

The year before that he beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl at the time and boasted the nation's #1 pass efficiency defense w/ 266 yards and a pair of touchdowns to become the game's MVP 33 to 32 Win.

Safe to say that if Bridgwater a 1x commit would stayed committed he would of bridge any gaps of our dying thirst!

No lie if any QB can beat the Pats Defense.... It's him!!! I always bet on homegrown talent From THE STATE OF FLA in any pro football games.

Dammit mane.. I'm with you on this one.. That's why I don't like this Miami team... We're are really not a real Miami team. Plus Manny lost the locker room from the jump. How in the **** are you going to bring in two transfers that already have starting positions over Pope, Harley and Mike Thomas... Come on now... These kids chose to be at the U.

Don't do that Manny b/c you sent a wrong message to the locker room.

Real talk... I was a supporter of Manny because I thought he gets it? As the game goes along I think he is trying his best but going through the motions. This bigger than what he examined.
