I just guess though on these "easy recruits" EVERYONE had Cantwell coming. Everyone had Armondo coming. Everyone had Francis coming. I was just lucky. You guys never see me run when I get **** wrong. No excuses. I'm still Cane here. If people want to berate me if he goes with the home team I'll be here for it.

I’m sure when the arrows are coming (from a minority of course) it’s difficult but…

Brah it isn't really difficult it's funny. 99% of people who would've been treated the way the staff has disrespected my crew over the past 4 years would've been flipping kids like Dirts dumb *** tries to to FSU. I'm here for the good and the bad. I'll always rep that U 💯

Would you say it’s gotten better over the last 10 to 12 months?

I would say the staff is more expansive in their search for kids. They are still closed off on outside input minus Jontavious from my experience. They didn't even know he existed until I showed them his film last January. That being said I like how they're investing and I think the overall recruiting strategy now Mario has down to a science in the new environment with balance of Retention, portal and high school. Now they just gotta develop a little more and we will be a perennial playoff team

He’s been willing to make necessary changes. Hopefully that continues.

This kid is the missing piece that takes this class to that final level.

Take all the money you had allocated to all the kids we've missed on and make this kid and offer he can't refuse. I'm not big on doing that....but this is a premium position that also happens to be a position of need. If it means you gotta take projects at other positions to make the budget work, so be it.
 
Never understood the point of berating people who brought legit information to the board because they dont get 100% correct. The guys who provide information on our board has been more right than wrong. They have called out alot of sunshine pumping on recruits they knew were not coming. So if they say someone is, im sure their information was correct at the time. Its like the USA economy. What is now may not be what it is in 6 months.

The stuff changes, we are going against powerhouse programs after being in the depths for 2 decades. We won alot of battles. We lost some as well. For me there is no point in getn bent about recruiting now, the next step is to start stacking first and 2nd round picks and winning conference titles. That will give us a shot to land top 3 classes consistently. That's the last step and thats on the coaching staff. Now they get held to the same standard on the field. I gave them 3 full recruiting classes and a salvage class.

Took me a long time to figure this out. Could not agree more. You could have the most sound argument and reasoning for anything, but if you scream it at someone, present it arrogantly, or insult the audience, the message vanishes. Immediately.
