Lack of RB breakaway speed/ Receivers with no hands..

Homer is a good back but no breakaway speed cost us two wins.Also, receivers have cost us games. Mark Right's offense is premise on big plays and we have crap the bed this year.

Agains Virginia/Duke Homer gets caught from behind.Our receivers are garbage at best.... All.of.you can blame Richt but we need and elite running back and receivers..
In conclusion...Richt cost us 2 wins when he took Perry out vs Virginia. This is why we lost 4 games in a row.

Yeah, would love us to have more speed all over the field, but take a look at the all time great RBs. Many of them if not most of them are not 4.3/4.4 guys. They're just excellent at what they do.
Something funky going on in WR room. Rotation is absurd. But, our dudes just need to catch the ball more. I'm not 100% sold on Perry as our dude next year, but his stats last night are not a solid reflection of him. He was pretty average, but his stats are obviously awful. Players gotta make plays.
 
WE had an elite receiver and we lost him. Agree on the backs, I'll wait and hold judgement on Lingard and Cam. Agree that we need an infusion of speed.
 
Homer's disappearing speed is a great mystery. The last two years I remember thinking he was the fastest guy on the field on special teams. Now he can't out run fat middle linebackers. He runs like a slug this year.

So wins are predicated on the fact you need a RB faster then anyone on the field? Gtfoh. The fact we lost 5 games is because we have an ancient Offensive system and a baseball player running it most of that time. Guess what? You start running a spread and suddenly Homer looks much faster AKA yesterday.

My eyes were wide open watching him tear up a decent Pitt team on only 8 carries.

homer was never a burner. he had problems seperating going back to high school

RB not the issue. WR on the other hand, oh my. They can't catch or even get separation. Serious lack of speed without Thomas or Richards. Langham, Cager and Hightower are all slow as molases

Ya know how u said we don’t have anybody to make big plays.... then said Richts offense is based on big plays......

That right there means your coach is incompetent. If u don’t get that, u need help.
 
Homer and Dallas have breakaway speed clowns. Dallas just broke away on that PR TD and Homer has done it plenty of times throughout his career at RB.

not every RB is Todd Gurley and can run a 4.3 forty at 230 pounds. People who make threads like this don’t live in reality... you all play with ur created player on Madden and compare that to reality.
 
some of you dudes are hilarious. On a day where 1 back outruns the defense for 64yds and another back outruns the defense for 65yds on a punt return, they are gonna complain about lack of breakaway speed. Some of you "fans" are the worst fans dogging players like Homer. Homer carried the offense last year making big run after big run playing with a mediocre QB and OLIne. This year has pretty much been the same and you never hear 1 negative thing from the guy. He could have *****ed and moaned about carries being taken away from him so the coaches can save face with younger players. Dude doesn't finish 1 run against UVA and the zit popping mouth breathers in this thread can't stop talking ****. A lot of posters did the same thing about Jaquan Johnson when he was a Freshman and Sophmore. Hope some of you choke on your breakfast.
