His confidence will be through the roof after that second half. The first half was too big for him but it was something need for him to mature. Today was a big step for this young man and the Miami program.

Perry had a mixed game as you might expect in his biggest stage so far. At times he looked like **** missing wide open receivers, or not seeing some. At times he looked brilliant.

Two years ago I was impressed at how tough Froncois was as a freshman, and thinking when he beat us, he looked like the veteran QB, rather than Kaaya. Yesterday those rolls reversed in the 2nd half, Perry who didn't crumble under the rush looked like the veteran.

Who was the last Cane QB to throw 4 TD passes against F$U????

Serious question because I can't remember.

The thing I like best about him is he appears to have that clutch factor, which is a top 3 trait in a championship level QB. The moment wasn’t too big for him.

Everything should be a lot easier for him mentally after this experience. Game should really start slowing down.

It was good to see. I'll admit, in the first half I was seriously thinking that I might have put Rosier in for a couple series to try and settle Perry down, but sticking with him was obviously the right move. He had to adjust to the speed of the game.....the time and space he had against Sav St, FIU and UNC simply wasn't there for the most part. He did recover, and hit multiple big league throws in the 2nd half.
