You can see that offensively, they don't have a ton of talent. And the coach knows that. He didn't attempt to pass the ball because he knew it wouldn't work and would just result in sacks, incompletions, and INTs. They have some success running, but it's all based on misdirection and motions. They aren't just running at you, they really need to confuse you to compensate for the lack of talent. While that can work, and it worked somewhat against Tenn., when the talent gap is so large, it still isn't going to result in many big plays. The defense is still able to recover and make stops and keep gains to minimal yardage. Which results in them having to first down their way down the field to score. And that's difficult to do, which is why they only scored 13 against Tenn. and needed a botched punt to even get to that number.
Was the botched punt recovered in the end zone? The only reason UT got to 20 was because of a fumble recovery, otherwise it would've been fourth down at which there is no guarantee they score in OT.
