Kliff Kingsbury- Disaster Averted?

Yeah, Diaz returning to UM in the manner peeved off Temple, but they are getting compensated and it was done in such a quick
fashion that they will have time to get another coach.....whereas Kingsbury decides to take this job to work for a coach in the hot-seat,
and within minutes you are seeking other gigs. It would be sorta ok if he was a position coach, but we are talking coordinator.

There are right and wrong ways of treating people and organizations that are paying you.

And Kingsbury will have to be bought out as well. Also, I think it's worse. Diaz was going to be their head coach, not a coordinator. On top of that, any employer that neglected me the opportunity to advance myself and career at the Pinnacle of the sport and possibly a dream, would get the middle finger too.

If Rick was still head coach and willing to grasp at anything to fix the offense for a year? Maybe.

Would Manny be interested in someone that almost assuredly would be gone after one season? Nah.

I bet he'd just slinks back to USC though as the resignation isn't official (yet).

They say if he doesn’t get a head coaching job the patriots might be eyeing him as an oc when josh McDaniel’s leave. Kingsbury is a hot commodity in the league as I can Assume many of them see the next Sean McVay

I just read something that said USC granted permission for him to interview (presumably due to the massive public backlash from the block they threw). So he hasn't resigned. I guess. Or whatever.

I find this whole saga hilarious, personally. I mean, I would certainly have welcomed him as OC, but given what we know now, I'm glad we missed out (assuming we hire a quality dude).

I say take him.

He can bring along his own version of Banda & Patke and then those guys can be appointed Co-Offensive Coordinators once Kliff bolts after one season.
 
Kliff is going to get the HC job for the Arizona Cardinals - they have absolutely no idea what they are doing and will for sure hire a guy who just went 5-7 in the Big 12 to coach in the NFC West. Wild times...

He was a terrible coach at TT especially considering hes there for years, under .500 by alot and nobody could play defense in their conference and as a qb guru he still couldn't win. Best thing for us is if Applewhites the guy theres 1 less guy to take a talented Texas qb
 
Man the NFL is completely obsessed with trying to find the next great offensive guru. Lafleur didn't do a ton for the Titans, but got the Greenbay job just because he worked for McVay.

Who had a longer tenure, Mario at Miami under Golden or Kliff at USC under Clay?
