Kliff Kingsbury- Disaster Averted?

Just read on multiple sites that he may resign at USC due to them blocking him from interviewing with NFL teams for head coaching vacancies.
The fact that there’s even an NFL rule that they have to ask for permission is crazy. But if he did step down, and didn’t get the job for any HC opportunities, maybe we still won’t have an OC and could go after him. I know it won’t happen, but a man can dream lol
Miss leading post. Article says maybe

I would hold off any hire if I was Manny. You’ll find out if he’s got any interviews anymore real quick.
I don't think Manny has the luxury of taking his time to hire an OC. We only have 4 offensive commits in this class. We need at least 6 more to have numbers for next year. Recruits want tangible evidence that the OC is one who can put them in a position to succeed on the field. Not having an OC when the dead period ends will do the exact opposite.

Cleveland would never hire him. Mayfield hates his guts for fcking him over at Texas Tech.
Wasn’t it Pat Mahomes who fcked him over? But I agree. Mayfield has chart of everyone who didn’t roll with him and he’s got a hit out on everyone of them.

I was going to say, Kingsbury didn't **** Mayfield over. A better QB stepped onto campus and the HC, rightly, went with him.

Jagoffzinski didn’t bolt. He got fired. Funny thing is he wound up as Tampa’s OC and got fired in preseason because he couldn’t think quickly enough. Then he wound up on a precipitous fall down the coaching ladder.

Was last a position coach at Georgia State.....karma.

Kingsbury and every other coach in Texas hated his dad. He had issues with the staff at TCU as well. When Mahomes showed up Kliff realized he didn’t have to suck his *** anymore.

You can think that, but Baker doesn’t. He went 5-0, hurt his knee, and when he came back felt like Kliffy wanted nothing to do with him. He was also sour Kliffy wouldn’t give him a scholarship even after going 5-0 as a starter.

Ahhh, I knew there was a more comedic tilt to that story. Mannn, you ain't kidding about his career decline after that Tampa stunt too. Worst part? He's in his 50s now too.

Mahomes hadn't even played at Tech yet. Kiffy went with Webb and then Mahomes ended up beating out Webb the next few seasons.

and @southpaw47 can suck a **** sideways for down-voting.
Dude I understand your point the Pinnacle of most every coach is the NFL. If this school is denying him to even interview, they are the ones saying f you and your ambitions. It's no different than Diaz immediately bolting to come here. Every man has to take care of his family and Chase his dream. Especially with a ***** move like that, I would not want to stay at that school and as far as coming here, **** yeah I'd take him! That's like all the holier than thou, if Briles comes to Miami, I'm done porsters..... LOL, until he starts lighting up the ACC. We want to win and win now! It's been almost 2 decades! Anyway, not really attacking you, just looking at it from a few different angles.

I don't see the similarity between what occurred wit Diaz and Temple and what Kingsbury is apparently trying to do at USC.
Yeah, Diaz returning to UM in the manner peeved off Temple, but they are getting compensated and it was done in such a quick
fashion that they will have time to get another coach.....whereas Kingsbury decides to take this job to work for a coach in the hot-seat,
and within minutes you are seeking other gigs. It would be sorta ok if he was a position coach, but we are talking coordinator.
Totally ******** over his employer.
There are right and wrong ways of treating people and organizations that are paying you.
