Tough spot for them. Guy takes job on December 5th and now wants to interview for NFL jobs. I'm not an attorney but wouldn't there be language in his contract already that dealt with when he could pursue the NFL or other college jobs, seems like the university has no protection (see Temple)????

Didn’t Miami pay Temple $4M to buyout Manny’s contract? Diaz may have had a clause in his contract specify a buyout if Miami offered. A lot of HCs have ‘dream job’ clauses.
