If Hester has decided to head home I'm sure it has FAR more to do with guys named Carter, Gayot, Johnson, and maybe even Irvin.

dude, Rutgers sport is b-ball and that's barely. You guys had a little notoriety when one of OUR coaches came down to teach you guys how to play football. Now, you guys stink again. 3-9 will be your record. You guys are irrelevant in football history.

They should have just walled off the state after The Sopranos finale, airlifted out the decent football talent to South Florida, and let everyone else tear each other to bits within 3 days over who gets to use the last bottle of Axe Body Spray.

Its a hole that has hosted numerous super bowls, and about to get another renovation, to host more, and host the college football national title game.

Ok, this on-going gibberish is silly. If anyone in the local media had a clue they'd pin down Golden about this and our Jersey pass rusher. Or contact the kids, parents, high school coaches for some answers. Surprisingly not that hard.

So in the middle of August, citing a need to be close to his mother, the freshman safety from northern New Jersey asked for his release to transfer home, his mom, Karla Alexander said.

And here is where it gets tricky and frustrating for Hester and his family.

Miami blocked the transfer to the school closest to Hester’s home, Rutgers, and the one closest enough for him to be able to help the most.

“He was coming back to help out with my aftercare,” Alexander said. “Even before he went away, he did a great deal of it. Between he and my other son (Glenn), taking me back-and-forth to the doctors, running errands because a lot of times I don’t go out. I can’t do heavy lifting.

So Hester thinks he would have time to play at a D1, take classes, and take care of his ailing mom? College players already complain that football takes up all there time.

Im never the one to question someone's true intentions but I'm a bit skeptical that this isnt just an excuse to get to Rutgers.
 
Why would we block the transfer to Rutgers? Even if he is using the mom story as a BS excuse, let his *** go to Rutgers lol
