Kiy Hester decommits from Rutgers

Few tiny little things in that video make me think he's a smart guy & a natural football player, not just a big/fast guy who plays football. Seems like a natural fit for this class if we can convince him.

I wish it was Gayot who had decommited from U of L and was now considering UM. I also think Gayot is rated higher on UM's board at safety because Gayot is more physical and has better range then hester.

Obviously I'm stoked to be back in position to possibly land this stud Safety(Hester), but I wish there was a shot we could flip WLB Sidney Gopre(has a Miami offer) from Rutgers too.

I know he is only 6'1 210, so might need a redshirt but as a Jr. last year he had 132 tackles, 41 tackles for a loss (WOW!) and 5 sacks(kid is a stat machine).

Kid kinda reminds me of Sean Spence(size, instincts, head hunter).

Just check the film before you say anything.

I also love seeing kids this size in HS dominate at LB instead of the 230 lbs ones.

It proves that they are using a lot more(instincts, technique, speed, football smarts) than just there size against much smaller kids.

IMO it is not as big of a deal when a recruit is just a man(size and strength) playing amongst boys, like watching Allen Bailey's HS film LOL.

I personally love the cerebral/speed type smaller LBs we have had like Spence, Vilma, Perryman, Lewis, Beason, Morgan etc... who were all around 5'11 - 6'2 195 - 210 lbs coming outta HS.

They all had the instincts and speed that this kid shows in his film, not to mention he also brings the wood.

I would love to land either one of Gayot or Hester, both are studs, but I don't think Gayot was higher on our board since we were talking about Hester all summer and I'm pretty sure he was our top Safety prospect we were after from the get go.
 
This makes no sense dixon is our #1 receiver target Hester is a safety. We show no love to Lane because we like dixon that much, we are in it with OSU and bama but we are his supposed leader.

I think you mean 2014 WR/DB Dennis Turner ( UM Commit whom Pete said feels will not sign with UM) and not 2014 WR Johnnie Dixon who UM staffers have been and are still currently camped out on his front lawn hoping to land him.

Lane said coaches were all talking to him before the FSU. They were passing around the phone and each one was talking to him

I don't think the staff is ignoring any of these high level prospects in favor of others right now. Dennis Turner, McCracy...the less highly though of recruits...maybe.

I've been wrong about Jenkins from the jump. I don't think I ever bashed him, but I wasn't as amped about his commitment as I should have been.

After reading more about him and seeing his film and dedication, I got nothing but love for the young homie.
 
That kid Jenkins is the key to the nt spot in the next couple years and if he can get Hester here I will be pumped!!!!!!!!!
