Agree. Especially in a class that will see Lawrence, Fields and others going pro.

Age is working against him at 23 years old, but he is a kid that could get on more people's radars with one more season.

There were Heisman whispers this year that went away. Kid could legit be one of the biggest names in the game if he returned.

Or he could be a day two pick and hold a clipboard in the NFL next fall.

Like so many others who'd have benefitted from one more year, King will arguably go pro and his Miami legacy will be this one quirky-*** COVID year.

I think he stays and has already told the staff. Then it even going after a QB for real means something is up. Either they already got someone in the portal game or King is coming back. No way they go into next year with just Kosi(terrible), TVD first start against Bama(haha), or Matocha or whatever his name is.

This is what gives me some hope. Kosi, Tate if he's even on the team anymore, and Matocha are all possible transfer candidates either before or after Spring practice. If King leaves its not out of the realm of possibility that TVD and one of the above mentioned are our only two scholarship QB's next year if we don't take a QB in the 21 class or the portal. The fact that we seem so hung up on Garcia makes me (want) to think Lashlee and Diaz know they have King coming back next year. Thats what I'm going to keep telling myself until he declares and two of the four left hit the portal, anyway.
