A thing to keep in mind is the senior bowl. If king goes there he’s gone for sure if not then I think he stays. Cause the guy who runs it is very intrigued with king and wants him there

i was curious how that would work. Since everyone is allowed an extra year could he play in that bowl and still come back? He isn’t signing with an agent. Simply playing in a bowl.

I could see him returning. The line will all be back next year. I could see Harley returning too. They could be dangerous Af next year. Add in Fields who would be his most equivalent talent type is gonna declare and is no doubt more proven. If he wants to play QB. Put two all conference years together for your resume.

I could see King, Harley, Carter all returning. McCloud 50/50 even tho I don’t want him and Carter back. Ford, Jordan, Phillips, Williams, Borregales are all gone in my opinion.

Rousseau was not really a failure. All indications are that since his mom is on the front lines of the pandemic that it made him come to the decision not to come back.
Nothing Manny could have done to change his mind.
This.

Rousseau had no choice, his parents were never going to allow him to play this year knowing he was guaranteed to be a 1st rounder. Once the opt-out became an option for this season due to Covid it was pretty much a forgone conclusion he wasn't gonna play this year.

I think he might stay. He wants to play in nfl but he wants to improve too.
That would be impressive. King does seem like an intelligent kid so this wouldn’t surprise me.

Meanwhile, let’s see what the Blades and Nesta’s of the world do.

Lol at his parents wouldn’t allow him........weak *** sh*t

Hopefully, King,Phillips, Bolden,Jordan listen to what their NFL grades are before making a decision. take a look at recent early
departures! Garvin everyone said 3rd pick, 7th round choice. Joe jackson DE day 1 selection 3rd round. we have to stop the early departures , I get Rosseau bona fide top 10-15 pick, but the rest of crew need to understand its not the first contract but the second contract that really counts

Joe Jackson went 5th round

He's going to make the dumb decision to go. He'll be drafted in the 7th round at best & then that'll be that.
Why would that be a dumb decision? He has his degree already and he’s 23. He’s not going to get any better here.

This is another one of those turning points for the program that could be the difference between Miami being a title contender or Miami having to take a step back again. I see this in the same way as Miami missing on Dalvin Cook and Teddy Bridgewater- they were program changers who were ours, but other programs got them and had tremendous success. If King comes back, Miamis biggest acc competition is a Clemson team without Lawrence and Etienne (hopefully without Venables as well). I think an experienced Miami team with King can take on a Clemson squad led by DJ Uglyleilei. Even with a loss to Bama to start the season, if Miami runs the table and wins the acc, we are in the playoffs. King would be coming back only if he expects a Heisman level season (I expect he'd be a top 3 favorite). A Heisman year from King with the talent coming in could finally get the program right again.
