King saved Manny.....

I completely disagree with that. It worked out yes, but what happens if you never get the ball back? You have to go for the tie instead of playing soft
We can disagree, it's important to come away with points there and not have a big momentum shift. That said if I'm coach I probably would have been ****ed off, let my emotions get the better of me and gone for it, for better or worse. Manny made a more "cerebral" call, and it worked out for him - this time.

How about he believed his team would make the play? They held NC State to a 3 and out in the prior drive. They proceeded to make NC State punt on the next drive and get the big INT to close out the game.

You can what if things to death. What if they went for it on 4th and Goal on the 6 yard line and didn't get it? They'd be in OT right now.
Then they turn the ball over and still have to make a stop, and still score a TD. It was the wrong call

King is unquestionably the reason this team is 6-1. But it’s a pretty stupid argument to say he saved Manny. It’s not like he just showed up and said I’m playing. Manny has to build on this moving forward and not be like Coach O. The man deserves credit for moving on from the dead weight at QB and OC, and getting King and Lashlee.

Manny mad the right call for the fg

I respect your opinion but I disagree. That decision went against the laws of probability. No way you take the ball out of Kings hands for a field goal that still leaves you in need of a TD, particularly with the way the defense was playing. Good thing it worked out.
