Really?He got to win
He missed wide open guys too. I posted this last year, he makes 1-2 reads and leaves.
Man as I much as like king and appreciate him, I'm starting to see he is not a qb. Definitely not a NFL QB. Thursday night we saw Brady and Dak getting the ball out in under 3 seconds consistently. King had 5 seconds or more many times and couldn't get it done.Kosi wouldve looked much better running this offense. Kosi has a better arm and better feel for how to play the RPO. And King is too short… every coach is telling their dlineman to swat the ball out of the air and they’re doing it several times a game way beyond normal.
I love you brother cause you're a Cane, but D'erik is this you....lolWelcome to college football. You just summed up 98 percent of the college starters. Usually it's one or two reads depending on pressure (not just on that play, but the cumulative effect of the game and how much they're getting pressured) and there's the outlet or overthrow to get rid of it.
King doesn't really throw it away, he tries to make a negative into a positive with his feet. This isn't new, he did it at Houston and you all drooled over it at the time. Now he plays in this trash *** system and it's a problem?
That doesn't mean he makes the wrong call at times or misses an open receiver. Every QB does that. Does he do it more, I don't know. Throw a pure dropback passer into last years playbook, with that OL, he gets decapitated by the end of the season. Kosi had a good half, but it wasn't game planned for.
Man, I've never really paid a lot of attention to your takes. I'm thinking though you should stick to recruiting tidbits.
He has no pocket presence… idk if it’s just being shell shock from last year but he has plenty of clean pockets to move the ball yet he’d scramble into a sackNot to mention leaving perfectly clean pockets

Problem is that Lashlee is a stubborn fk and keeps trying to run his power spread. Garcia needs a Leach or Riley type offense not that cr@p Lashlee runs.Jake Garcia is the answer! I’m sew tired of Manny playin older players over moar talented younger players!
I feel where you comin from bro and you do have a point about there is something different with King. In Houston his play and decision making was so much crisper and quicker.Nah, not a relative, acquaintance, or anything.
I just don't like people trying to trash our players, in particular when it's surface level.
In short, Lashlee and him with WR, OL, etc all factored in, don't work.
So that leads me to a very simple question. What happened to Houston King? He's not as good now and he didn't forget how to play. So that makes me look at the why.
I can only look surface level, game footage. I would love to see the field from the end zones and above. The lack of creativity on what we can see leads me to believe what I'm missing isn't much. Then you have opposing coaches commenting how simple our offense is, so we're back to square one.
Lashlee is the problem. Every QB will make mistakes, but that's his job to make use of his players. He doesn't use King the right way.
Hope that somewhat explains my end.
King makes the OL look worse then they are... He holds on to the ball forever. He won't throw the ball unless the WR is WIDEEEE tf openWelcome to college football. So it’s on Lashlee to build the offense around King, or bench him. I was very critical of King these past couple weeks but if he can’t do it, he can’t do it.King is hurting us no doubt. Sounds silly but it is so true. He is just not that good in this system.
Yep, Lashlee needs to eliminate the zone read, he can’t make the reads and he’s awkward running it.
