King Interview with Stephen A Smith

This dude is openly compromised and will say anything to remain employed. U can't be "real" and a puppet at the same time. He is totally for sale and watches what he says on a daily basis to say safe. Doing this and being "real" is mutually exclusive. And that's cool, be all about the dollar and getting ahead no matter what, but you don't get to be called "real" as well.

Notice how loud, angry, aggressive and flippant he is when admonishing the black community on topics dealing with race, but during the open racial unrest of last year he was docile, measured, soft spoken, apologetic, and restrained when speaking on the white community in any form or fashion. He wont speak on the LGBT nor ****** community in any ole way will he? He gets himself totally together (voice, tone, volume, and body language) and behaves himself when issues concerning them are brought up 😆. That ain't keeping it real. Only those who have the ability to punish him ( get him cancelled or sign his checks), get his respect. One can say that he is smart, but he ain't real.

That's everyone even the recruits in uniform we root for.

Everyone doesn’t wake up in the morning believing that the (only) way to financial prosperity and upward mobility is thru the lens, approval, benefit and framework of another man. That’s not the mindstate or mentality of a “real” dude or man. That’s the mentality of a dependent company person. He is 100% status quo. His name would never be forgotten if he struck out on his own and started his own sports media company. His brand is certainly big enough on its own to do so. But he isn’t a boss, he is a proud worker who impersonates boss status (loud tirades and lecturing) to those he feels unaccountable to.

Our players and other student-athletes have the NIL rights now. NIL didn’t come into fruition through them seeing their monetary needs met through the NCAA making even more money off of their talents, to justify them getting some (as SAS said). They still have to go out and do the leg work. The NCAA isn’t cutting them a check like SAS receives. They earned the right to make money off of themselves independently.

Not trying to derail so I’m done.

Before I watch this is he already yelling? If so I’ll just read the comments here. That guy is way to loud. Good for King to get more exposure.

behavioral **** hes good at, he maybe doesnt know alot of sports but when a player is out in left field he tells it like it is

For someone that makes north of $10 mil per year, as the face of ESPN, I'd say knowing about sports would be ideal. That's just me.

It's easy to call out people for their BS. He gets called out on it and he becomes a little snowflake.

One example: Stephen A. Smith calling out Cowboy Cerrone for "not showing up and quitting" to a fight when Connor McGregor punched him and he suffered an orbital fracture. The MMA community jumped on SA because he sounded like a complete idiot.

I know he manned up and apologized to the Asian community. I don't know wtf it was for but I remember he had to apologize.

I love the promotion of UM and the NIL deals. We want to be known as one of the schools that creates great NIL opportunities. With that we are finally recruiting on a more level (not level, more level than before) playing field. And when UM is not at a severe financial disadvantage, UM does well because then the location advantage UM holds again becomes A very important factor in recruiting.
