Kim Jung Al and the AD are not happy with the media

you got off cheap

For real. It's over $160,000 these days.

no one should pay that much for an education especially at um.

Lmao. It's like around $42,000 a year in tuition and fees. Doesn't include books, food, room and board.

I've met 2 kids total when i was at UM that actually paid full. barely anyone at UM really pays the full tuition. tons of kids r on some kind of scholarship or need based grants

You're right homie. It wouldn't have been possible for me without the schollie. I'm sure Kyle is the same. But still. The price is high. Sure when Hochman went to school it also wasn't that easy to get a scholarship.

My schools tuition is around $26k per year without room and board and I get payed 3k per semester to go there. Scholarships are huge now a days, not just for sports.

I get paid 2k a semester to go to um right now. but barley anyone pays full tuition even with the scholarships a lot of kids still pay a high amount of money

Education is robbery. Thank god I got a track scholarship to pay for mine. Simply ridiculous you leave school in debt.

And you can't get a job commensurate with the cost of the education and incur significant debt, which will be a financial boat anchor for years to come.

I went to school with Hochman. We used to work at WVUM together. And I lost my partial scholarship halfway into my sophomore year due to slacking off. Family had to scramble to get more financial aid. I graduated from UM 20 years ago and I still haven't completely paid off my loans...

Hochman fails to mention that he took 6 years to graduate. It does seems like there are actually more rubes paying full tuition now at the insane rate they've escalated it to than I can remember even 10 yrs ago. Way more European, Asian and South American kids that Donna somehow suckered into thinking that paying $40000+ per year for 40+ ranked institution is a worthy investment.

That aside, what is Alfredo Sauce whining about in relation to compliance and the agents? That part flew over my head as I was probably having another mild stroke. That seems to be happening almost anytime I read anything coming out of the Gables these days.

I don't get the "night games " excuse, it's not like we don't suck during day games

There was a report that UM let some kids talk to agents before a game. I know for a fact that during Pitt and FSU rosenhaus was down at field level. Maybe he was whispering sweet nothings in Dukes ear.

I am ****ed that there were virtually no scholarships when I attended; I paid every penny. Of course we had the draft and Nam as extra incentive to go to college so I guess they didn't have to provide help.

That aside, Al is finally hitting his stride. The cloud was a temporary excuse and it blew away, but night now that just keeps going and going. It is as certain as sunset. It is pure genius and very original. I can't remember anyone deploying it before. He said several times this year, so there was a plan. I also love the whole agenda thing. Soon he directly blame this site, claiming that posters point out weaknesses in his defense and opponents use that inside information to game plan against his otherwise impregnable defense. The administration will join in with is straw men, because they don't really want to fire Al. He is their frigging dream coach.

I know Hackson's career has devolved into being the athletic department's propaganda do-boy, but wow. I can't believe he had the plums to publish this:

Kuperstein also said the purported email to coaches included a reference to UM having a grueling schedule "with nine night games." Some UM fans have mocked Golden for mentioning UM having a lot of night games, but college coaches typically prefer earlier games so they get a jump-start on the next week. There are assuredly reasons for criticizing Golden, but this isn't one of them.

You have got to be f*cking kidding me.

A coach at a perennial college football power is blaming night games for his 6-6 record in his 4th year, and this isn't a reason to criticize? He should be criticized, castrated, and exiled. People wonder why his teams quit? Why his teams are always so soft? They take on the attitude of old Pop Warner Al here, along with his carefree, afternoon game loving, juicebox slingin', just have fun out there ways.

This guy comes to a ratings monster like Miami and tries to blame the prime-time games for his pitiful performance? Get the **** out of here. If you can't handle coaching at this level, admit it, be a man and say you are in over your heard. Say you failed this season. Trying to invent excuses like this is pathetic.

Oh, and for a coach that values "getting an extra jump-start" on preparation for games, he sure did cancel a lot of practices this season.

I can't believe we found and hired a coach who is worse than Shannon

On the compliance thing. Didn't someone say rosenhouse was sitting w Duke's mom at game?

If this happened under Gorlden's watch, holy f[]_[]ck!

They won't be allowed to play in bowl game and we gone have to self report this?

WTF is going on down there?!?!?!

So all of this makes you wonder whether someone at UM is trying to undermine Golden or make him appear as if he's reaching for excuses.

I love this piece. And here I thought Golden had already come up with all sorts of excuses as to why our dismal 6-6 season was not his fault. He doesn't need this article to come up with another for him.

Night games = need more vampires (corches and players).

So what is it? Every time a local radio station says something negative about golden there gonna come out and say their upset because your hurting all Golden's feelings? Gtfoh

but, but, he said he doesn't pay attention to the noise outside the locker room.

UM is apparently the first solar powered NCAA football team.

But then, here comes the cloud to sap our strength.
