No matter who we bring in, link them up with Andy/Jose in the offseason here. We struck gold with those two for the past several years, so there's something they're doing right. Try to recruit for the traits, and see if working with a couple of guys who were great for us helps avoid major dropoff. I know Andy will be in camp with someone soon after the draft, but I'm sure there's some time somewhere if our staff can make the connection happen.

Carter Davis beat him out. Our prior special teams guy Marwan Maalouf signed Murray, so when he struggled this spring he didn’t have a champion in the building.

Carter Davis was a backup kicker at FAU who went 2/7 from FGs last year. You just cannot rely on a guy like that to be your starter.

He had a down year last season but the previous 2 years he was one of the best Kickers in college football. I would gladly take him over Carter Davis, at least he's been a 3 year starter at a major college football program.

Historically speaking, Auburn is a better option than Davis but oh boy, Auburn struggled towards the end of last season badly. There are any other Borregales brothers out there?
