Unfortunate it didn’t work out for him here. Hopefully Carter Davis is good…though 4 for 11 on FGs for his career at FAU has me concerned. Are we sure it’s not possible to clone either Borregales brother in time for the start of the season?

If the FAU kid is our starting kicker this season were in trouble. Going out and getting someone else is an absolute must.

In my opinion (and I know I am not alone here) this is the most underrated step back on the roster. Borregales didn't miss a single extra point and was 15-19 from beyond 40 yards in the past two seasons and accounted for at least 100 points in both seasons.

A downgrade was inevitable no matter who we brought in and losing Murray likely changes very little. But given how slim the margin of error will be this season, I am extremely worried here.

Like I said in the other thread, go get Granatica from USF, and his brother who is a 2026 recruit will follow. Can go from 4 years or whatever it was of zborregales brothers to 4 years of Gramatica brothers…

I have PTSD watching Baxa and Feagles….

To this day I will sometimes invoke the name of Baxa when an opposing kicker is lining up on a crucial field goal in an effort to send bad luck his way. "You're a Baxa... you're a Baxa... you're going to miss the kick... you're a Baxa!"
