Khairi Clark commits to UF

Browsed the gator board. They say we strike out on DL like they strike out on OL.

I wonder what is better.
UF OL vs Miami DL?
Miami OL vs UF DL?
Anyone know how we stack up to them in the trenches. Is their OL that bad? If so we may very well take Sept 8.

They might actually have a point there....our OL is/will be pretty beastly. Oh wait, I almost forgot about Clark. **** it....
 
Our OL has been good in pass pro but STILL struggles to get a push in the run game.

When we were a school that also lined up kids to take players tests, we were dominant too. Now that we are a button down nerd school, it's almost impossible to have that type of dominant football program without having the best coach or top 3 coach in the game.
 
As long as we get valentine and a few others we will be fine also valentine getting in with grades or what ever he has to get done
 
I wanted Clark and Valentine to come here so bad... we have missed too much on these d line guys... from eddie goldman to kief to bostwick to moten now clark... we need a big time recruit or two at this position... hope we get a big time JUCO DT as well.

Yeah sorry, DT recruiting is a total and utter failure.

Staff is running ******* wild the last 2 days doing work and still feels like Jethro is just anchoring us into the depths on defense.

Can't depend on 1 guy to be a hero for a position group. Those few other guys better be impact players.

From all the reports out of camps the past few months it seems that Clark is not a guy who exactly works his *** off but gets by on natural abilities. I'm not saying he won't be a beast. I am saying it seems like it's a coin flip on whether he becomes a stud or Marcus Fortson.

It's been said on here before, but by definition DTs are lazy mofos. Being 300 lbs in high school isn't normal and it isn't the result of taking care of yourself. Additionally, they usually do get by on the field by their superior size. They're usually not technicians coming out of high school and require a lot of coaching.
