Khairi Clark commits to UF

Wow, you both are amazing. No one is jerking off to losing Clark. We need Clark, Moten etc. but I am so concerned with the coaching at the position (DEVELOPMENT) that I can't really get past the missing on Clark.

Does that make sense?

If you think Miami can't develop dlinemen, then I don't understand why you're out here giving it the "Remain calm! All is well!" treatment when they whiff on a(nother) guy who by most accounts doesn't need "developing."

Because the bigger issue is fixing the place where you service your car and not the parts you use to service the car. I say focus on the bigger issue.

I am calm because missing one player doesn't mean the end of the world neither does missing on two or three. The end of the world will be the lack of player development at the position.

So when I say our DL Coach is my problem and not missing on Clark it is because I fear development as opposed to missing on a player. I think a good DL coach can develop 2 stars or 5 stars and make them serviceable or good players. I don't think we have that now, so I am not wasting any "panic" on missing on a recruit.

Our defensive scheme sucks for DTs and we have no players there. DTs watch the highlights of our defensive line and think "these are the HIGHLIGHTS?!?!" These kids want to play in a scheme that allows them to pin their ears back and blow up the field. They don't understand that D'ono wants his DTs soaking up two or three blockers. They want to play in a scheme like our old 43 Cover-2, RS system where 3-tech DTs can rush the passer and the 1-tech/NT gets to push the pocket and create pressure/get sacks.

Our system is not exciting for DTs. It's just not. What we want at DT, these kids do not want to play. It is what it is..

False stop crying. Big time DTs go play in Bama and UGA 3-4 defense all the time. It's about on the field production and wins.

Read the post above mine and see this kids quote about why he choose UF. it had nothing to do with scheme. Some of these kids are so impressionable to the point they will be believe anything. UF tradation of educating players and a better campus, it's such a dumb statement i can't even "lol" at it.

I got a former teammate of mine that chose UF or UM back in 2000. He could have been part of the 2001 NC but he left UF with no degree and working as a bouncer in a club on S beach. Also Taurean Charles...a former 5* recruit went to UF and well he didn't last there long
