Keyshawn Smith Looks Like a Recruiting Hidden Gem

Pass was a duck. If out front, no chance in **** he gets run up on, the kid has legit wheels. Watch the clip, his right arm is pinned. The reason it’s hard to see him slow is because he has superb body control. Real receivers actually can adjust speeds looking natural...Chris Carter was phenomenal at it. Made his QBs look amazing.

Yes, he's one of the ballers from Southeast San Diego, in his case Lincoln HS. Also from Lincoln: Marcus Allen, Terrell Davis, and Lew Barnes. Many from that part of SD go on to big time play. Think Reggie Bush and Alex Smith from Helix HS, La Mesa but really a burb of San Diego.

I had one of Smith's friends, BC, in a class. BC has LB potential at NFL level, but had to go JUCO first. One of the finest young people I have met. BC was happy for his friend becoming a Cane. Moral of story: Cane culture is alive and well in SoCal. USC has lost its luster, giving UM an opening for recruits in SoCal.

Him and Redding need double the snaps. Harley will cost us a game, I’m hoping it’s not in 2 weeks. Too many drops. Clemson is good enough to bracket Brevin Jordan and rely on man on the outside, I guy who can get separation like this will be needed along with a bigger body like Redding.

He didn’t try to catch it with one hand…I read where somebody wrote that earlier. What happened was the defender got between him and his arm he couldn’t get his right arm back. It was weird, but it wasn’t a one hand attempt.
correct, and it only happened because the ball was under thrown. Smith had to slow down and in doing so, it let the defender to get into his body and the right hand couldn’t get free. The play took a long time to develop with 2 fakes. Smith seemed faster than Perry expected.

He’s the type of West Coast WR Leach was making a killing with at WSU or like the Boise St guys. Athletes who can run and put up huge numbers. That was a tremendous recruiting find.
