Keys To Beating FSPooh....

The way James hits he might just put one of them boys on stretcher for real. Killa Kam back there head hunting too.

We need tolimit Coleman like we did Evan Stewart. We need to hold Coleman to 7 catches for 60yds as opposed to Coleman going off for 7 catches for 120+ and a TD.
This is my biggest matchup worry - who the heck is going to defend Coleman? If Jadyn Davis is out there we are in deep trouble, we'll have to have a safety over there basically all game long. Coleman is one of those guys who can single-handedly destroy our defense. I don't think Guidry moves his outside corners right? I'm sure FSU will get Coleman on Davis as much as possible. My only hope is that one (or both) of Keon and Wilson don't suit up.

Stewart had 11 catches for 142 yards against us. By far his best game of the year. He hasn't had more than 6 catches or 55 yards since then.

- Limit Coleman's and Wilson's impact on the game. We need to slow Coleman down similarly to the way we slowed down Evan Stewart for 3 and half quarters when we played Texas A&M. Keep coverage over top and play off. Force FSU into taking the short throws. Again, limit the explosives.

Any impending tsunami in the forecast that will cancel the game for us? That's our only key to winning today

Of course not. But what are they doing?! Confirming a player’s availability before kickoff? Everyone knows that guarantees a loss and potentially shutting your program down. Thank god Miami would never do such a thing.

How you do anything is how you do everything.

It wouldn't surprise me to see our safety depth change to 13-15yds. Cover 2, cover 3, Dime to try and limit FSU going for 6 over our head. People keep bringing up the corners but Kam and James are more important in my opinion. Our CBs can play off to influence FSU into taking the cheap yards instead of beating us deep. But if Kam and James are biting on those in-breaking routes like they did against UNC it'll be a long day for us.

TrumpyCane thinks it’s very simple on how to win

Don’t turn the ball over 4 times
Stop the run
Bring pressure but contain Travis

Duke, Clemson, BC all could have won
D*** shame a teddy bear has more sense than some the people on the board.

Wouldn't want it any other way. No excuses for FSU to use.

We also have to score points, which is something that we really, really struggle to do as of late.
Which is why we're not going to win in a track meet. We have to turn this into a rock fight. Oddly, play a game like Virginia or NC State, be in it in the fourth quarter, and steal it.

The defense is capable. But the problem will be, you have to be mentally tough, can't make mistakes, and the refs will be calling the game with their hands on the flags. That's a tough balancing act for this team ... but they did it for Clemson (which should have beat FSU).

No surprise

Looks like they also put out the injury excuse article just in case they lose or don’t win convincingly. The Travis part is funny because he’s limping around after every incomplete pass and asking for a flag.
