Teams lose faith and trust in a HC when they know he's full of ****. Al carried on before the game about how ready Kaaya was and how confident everyone was and how we were going to punish them with the pass if they stacked the box. Then, it was completely obvious none of that was true once the game started.
He's full of ****, and they know he speaks with a forked tongue. He puffed everyone up on how we were going to run a dangerous high octane offense with Kaaya, and then he turtled up like a fat pu$$y and made it impossible for the offense to succeed.
If you start a freshman over a 5th year guy, then you better run the full offense with him. If you don't, then all those playmakers on offense feel like you cheated them and sold them a box of diarrhea.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Who gives a **** who they support? In every QB competition across the country, there is going to be some kind of division on the matter. Too ****ing bad.
When it comes to blows is when the people making the decision show such intolerable ineptitude that it just ****es everyone off. I'm sure if the coaches said "hey guys, we are going to start Kaaya and call as many play options as Madden 93......" then I'm sure the backlash would have been heated.
