Key to beating Nebraska

Nebraska's secondary seems to be a strength this year. I'd recommend just trying to pound the rock.

You shouldn't have come to this board...

You will learn shortly

You can still save yourself. It's not too late

Hurricanes fans have been using that they don't match up with us athletically **** for how long? You think duke matches us with us no but guess what we still lost to them. How bout Virginia all those Years? Nope but we still lost. How bout Louisville? Nope but we still lose.

Shut down there running game like mncesse state did and there nothing. Armstrong cannot throw the ball and this is the same team that it took a hail Mary to beat a barley 5 win northwestern team last year. Knowing us tho our defense will give up a career day to either Abdullah or Armstrong. I'm optimistic tho.

Abdullah had 17 carries for 52 yards against Mcnesset ******* State... Im not worried about him we need to worry anout The running QB and the big plays down the field and protecting our QB

D1, check
In a power 5 conference, check
Top 25 team, check

Miami has no chance at beating Braska.

Kenny bell westercamp and Abdullah are there playmakers along with there punt returner and kick returner who scares me because we have Terrible special teams.

I'm more worried about their offense.

Ranked team on road.

Can't get thoughts of K state outa my head

Like other people have said, the running game is what they got. The one unit who seems to be playing well is the DL, hopefully they can disrupt the ground game

Now that Kaaya has been let loose, he will have to throw the deep ball early and effectively. Nebraska lost a couple of DB's early in training camp and we have to exploit their weakness right away. If we can jump on them early it will limit the amount of carries Abdullah will get and they will be forced to pass. Will be a good environment to quiet as they are ranked #24 now. We can not afford to play conservatively on offense and have to allow the athletes to be athletes. Abdullah will get his fair share of yards on talent alone but we have to limit his ability by striking early.

The new beginning of the end?

For Nebraska yes. Will hold judgement until after Duke for us again. I really really think we play well in this game this weekend.

Running qb, use zone read, night road game, top 25 team and nationally televised. I don't like these ingredients .

That's the ******* point. UM should be hammering these teams that don't match up to us, but we can't because we have some of the worst coaching in the country.

Nebraska isn't a great program, but I wouldn't put too much stock in their game against McNeese State. A saturday night game at home against Miami, they are going to be ready.

We will make them look like the best team in the nation on Saturday, we have no chance at winning this game

all we really know is that if we win, Nebraska is going to lose a lot of games, Golden doesn't beat teams ranked at the end of the season.

I've over all of this 'athletic' and 'talent' stuff. I've been watching our games, and this is what I think: if we play good, sound football we have a good chance to get the W.

Conversely, if we start with the stupid penalties, or if we drop passes, miss FGs, whiff on basic blocks, etc. then we probably won't win. Watching cfb, especially early in the year, it seems that if you are relatively crisp and just play a good game, you're gonna like the results more often than not. Talent be damned.
