Kevin Olsen

I think he gets a chance this game. Maybe not start but mop up duty. If he shows out this game and Kaaya goes to Nebraska and craps the bed then you never know what could happen. Ehhh it's only a half baked prediction but I got a feeling.

I think Williams will play a few series this Saturday. He will need some gametime snaps just in case we need him at Nebraska which most likely we will.

William is out for this weekend. Doubt Olsen or Heaps get any burn either. Kaaya needs every rep he can get.

I hear Olsen is really broken up about Kiy Hester's "personal issues" back in Jersey. May also have to return to the Garden State to tend to the matter.

Maybe we could open up a one way shuttle lane on I-95 just to handle the traffic back to New Joisey.

In honor of the great Pete Aziz, let me just say, "Yes" and let you guys figure out who I'm responding to and what I mean.

There is nothing to explain. He was not in the mix before suspension so why would he be now?

Will never take a snap

Could you enlighten as to why. I don't disagree with you, but instead of the one sentence answers why don't you elaborate a little. Kids tape looked good in HS, what happened since his arrival here.

would you trust this kid and turn over the team to him if you were head coach? the kid has a lot to prove before he can be considered again.

Let alone his off-the-field transgressions, Olsen has shown nothing that would lead one to believe he is the answer. Unfortunately, Pete's boy is being forced into action a year or two before his time. The only hope this year is that Williams, though limited mobility even before his injury, can get healthy enough to run the offense, make quicker reads and distribute the ball to what this board has led us to believe are playmakers. We shall see.

Also, once Williams returns, the excuses about offensive guru Coley being hamstrung by a frosh QB will be history.

It's a shame KO didn't take the opportunity in front of him and has basically ****ed off into the bottom of the depth chart. Really set the program back a year. Having said that, after the first 3 weeks, NO EXCUSES for either the HC or OC to have the O look presentable.

Some hanging their argument on the spring game still. The spring games play calling is the same abomination that we have seen these past 2 weeks. James Coley is **** and our QB will all pay the price until the staff is turned over.

If a staff change does come after the season. I see Olsen sticking it out and battling Kaaya for the position next year. If they stay i seem him leaving. D has said the staff doesn't trust him. I don't believe Olsen has trust in them. Dude grew up around coaching and knows more than most would. Olsen was drawing plays up with Crayons when he was 5.

Coley maybe a good recruiter, but he is over his head in grooming QB and calling plays.

Kaaya hasn't burned his shirt yet.

Why does this nonsense get traipsed out year-in and year-out. The redshirt is burned on the first play. I repeat the redshirt is burned on the first play.

The ONLY exception is a medical hardship if a player suffers a season-ending injury and the NCAA grants the hardship.

Who thinks he can come in and get the starting QB spot. I like Kaaya I really do but he's a true freshman. I know we've burnt his shirt but I feel like this is a Marve and Jacory situation. Except this time The redshirt comes away with it. Arkansas state game will tell me more but I think he comes in and does some work. I'm not giving up on him yet. Either way I think Williams gets his starting QB spot back once he's healthy.

It never ceases to amaze me that posters will continually grasp at straws for something to save the season, no matter how long the odds.

I love the over reactions man. How is it obvious kaaya isn't ready? He's played two games with one of them where almost every pass attempt he was being rushed with defenders in his face and was on his *** after. People acknowledge the Oline has been terrible but still continue to say kaaya isn't ready. How is he supposed to make throws if he dosent have any time? These next two games should tell us a lot more. And if he does go on the road and beats a Nebraska team that isn't very good which they showed Saturday there overrated like every year all this he's not ready nonsense will stop
