It’s not all about seniority. Flagg played early.

Maybe he’s too focused on guys who “know how to play LB” versus athletes with instincts. Shannon was similar (think Glenn Cook over Daryl Sharpton).

The irony is that Flagg made as many mistakes as any of the others. Plus was too slow.

I love Ragone for accomplishing what he has. But like Murphy a couple years ago at RB, he should never have been needed for meaningful snaps. How on earth do you play him over Chase Smith?

I think Manny was coaching for his job. Or, just to get the W.

You know our defense, one missed hole in the middle and it's a touchdown.

My favorite thing about the Chase Smith stuff is that he didn't get a meaningful snap until we were losing to FSU. So when he knows his *** is REALLY on the line, he'll play the best player, but until then 44 and 11 are out there.

100% .. I am not an expert but you can see what Chase can do on the football field from far. He is easily in my opinion our best athlete period.. the short space speed, the explosion is elite. The deferred pass vs VT and the TFL on 4th down yesterday we have not seen from anyone.

Was just about to say this. I don’t trust him, players shouldn’t trust him and recruits DEFINITELY shouldn’t trust him. You got guys sitting on the bench who as soon as they enter the game pop off the screen. Smh.

Manny Diaz never played and was probably always picked last his whole life. It's no wonder he always seems to play the less talented kids. He's not a football coach, he's a fan who has watched Rudy one too many times.

The only reason Kinchens and JW got in there was because of a few targeting calls early on. Knighton because of injury. Taylor because they were worried he’d portal out. And Clark was sitting behind Gaynor until he got injured. Arroyo’s another one who has been woefully underutilized.

I’ll give Jess credit for leaving in McCloud. He played solidly if unspectacularly. And I personally feel like Silvera is an unsung hero of the defense. Still not sure why Jess couldn’t help Harvey, Chantz and Roberts to take that next step. Even Taylor struggled with his new weight at times. Very frustrating.

Elijah Roberts should have had a lot more burn.

The last couple of years I've learned that the so called "experts" often know little more than the educated fan that has alittle common sense.

K.Smith has been a heat seeking missile since HS and anyone that has seen film on C.Smith could tell you the kid is elite. Kids like Flagg are great back end depth, he plays hard, hustles, knows the game, but he isn't a dude like the Smiths. Let me not even start with Ragone.
