Love it! Still want another DT or 2 for depth.
If Stancil continues on his current trajectory, I think we'll be good with a dT rotation of Moten, Scott, Blount, Carter and Stancil.

Keona Davis is a DT. He can also play edge, but he is a DT.Love it! Still want another DT or 2 for depth.
After your “defense could be dominant” thread last year I defer all of this to you good sirKeona Davis is a DT. He can also play edge, but he is a DT.
Yup. Huge having that versatility. Injuries happen and it’s a long season with the playoffs now. Need to stay deep.Keona Davis is a DT. He can also play edge, but he is a DT.
He looks like he can add 15-30 pounds to his frame, too.Keona Davis is a DT. He can also play edge, but he is a DT.
Totally agree. He could be 290 next season. He looks like he can add 15-30 pounds to his frame, too.
Will never replace Bain and Akeem but the depth and interior strength is improved. Moten had me looking up Willam Joseph highlights.
Gonna be ******* fun to watch
when i was a student i ran into bailey in stanford dining hall and couldn’t believe how big he was as an incoming freshman. gave him a handshake and his fingers were touching my wrist. dude could’ve taken my pulse while shaking my hand.
The only thing that stops Al from being one of the most talented football players ever was his work ethic or lack thereof. Because he was never held to the same standard as all of the rest of us. That's not a knock on him. You got to just imagine what it means for not only in a college that was known for the talent we had on the field and also more than that how hard we works but you got a dude who's starting and is a monster as a starter that like doesn't bust his *** at all in practice and doesn't work out at all in season off season nothing. Do you know what that is to go through a college like we did and all those years in the NFL and never once were you forced to work out. I'm sorry but that is insane. Most people will never even grasp how hard you have to work to even play in the NFL or to play in college let alone to start and be highly productive at that. And not once were you told if you don't work out if you don't do this if you don't do that we're taking your job or taking your scholarship. SHIIIIIIIIIIT. As badass as some of us were just think about that Just from some of the videos and some of the stories you I've heard none of us tried to force his hands. Not once ever did anybody say yo Al you got to do this you got to do that. He just did what f*** he wanted to and was **** good at it.
Nah. I wouldn't say that. He was just built different. He was a quiet, peaceful low-key dude who came from a lifestyle that was different from what we did. He didn't live for the sport like that. It was just a means to an end. But I wouldn't say he didn't love it. It just wasn't his priority cause he already came here with a lifestyle he appreciated. Most of us we lived for this **** because it provided us a way out of what we all despised. He was perfectly fine without the money. Cause for him he always was and always will be the dude who liked hunting, who liked fishing etc.Correct me if I'm wrong, but sounds like as gifted as he was he didn't love it.
We should all be so lucky to find happiness and contentment in a simple life. Good for him, wish my needs would allow for that but I am too **** greedyNah. I wouldn't say that. Believe it’s also been said on here by someone who claimed to know the family that Blount does not want to be a DT/is not planning to be there full time.Keona Davis is a DT. He can also play edge, but he is a DT.
I swear different "people who know Blount" have claimed he wants to play DT and does not want to play DTBelieve it’s also been said on here by someone who claimed to know the family that Blount does not want to be a DT/is not planning to be there full time.
He has the length (pause) and motor that Hetherman loves. He will make this defensive line extremely versatile. After your “defense could be dominant” thread last year I defer all of this to you good sir
He needs to be the next commit. Watch him against the run at only 270 and imagine 20 more pounds and stronger. Look at the motor, the chase. He is also a very sold interior pass rusher. If this is your 4th - 5th DT then you are elite.
Don't know if you were assuming I thought that was a knock on him. Certainly not at this point in my life there is nothing that I want more. But it takes a lifetime of experiences to achieve that in most instances. He is just fortunate to have an old soul.We should all be so lucky to find happiness and contentment in a simple life.
