key to defensive resurgence and team MVP. From the limited reps I saw of him in doritos *****, "as a true freshman", this kid will blow up this season playing in an aggressive scheme with quality players around him.

Played very well although dmoney did did say he was the best dtackle Miami signed since wilfork in camp, it was a pleasant surprise to see some flashes from him. He made some plays this year. Excited about him. I also want see if Anthony moten can make that jump as well that he is capable of doing

I agree with you 100 percent bro. I've been saying this since we hired coach kool. Hes the best DT we've had since Wilfork, his potential is thru the roof. He showed flashes last year in No'Ds defensive scheme, I cant wait to see what this young man does in our new aggressive defense system. Him and Quan are gonna have a monster year mark my words. Shoot the whole d line will !!

"Best DT since Wilfork"? He's not even the best DT since Forston. Kid's slow off the ball, OLmen get into Him to easily, gets pushed back too much for my liking...kid has a lot to prove. He needs to get in waaaaaay better shape than what He was last year.

Agreed. Definitely not writing the kid off given Dorito's scheme and the fact that he was a true frosh on the line, but he didn't show anything that would make me confidently say "team MVP" next year.

This Norton hype needs to stop. Dude played well against inferior comp and disappeared the rest of the season.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of McIntosh. I think he has big upside. Love the HS DE move to the inside in college, especially with our new aggressive play in the backfield philosophy.

Go Canes!

Slow off the ball? 2 gapping is a read and react not an attacking get up the field. Hard to judge what someone's potential get off can be if they have been practicing the opposite.

Chad, Norton, Willis, AQM across the D line should be a **** good starting group. Who's going to come in after that group and keep the same level of play? That's my biggest question.

You crazy bro.. his first step you can't teach that, and hes pretty **** quick for a big man. Fortson was over hyped coming out of MNW. But like I said he's the best DT we've had since Wilfork. He was a freshman last season under No'Ds defensive scheme. Of course hes gonna have up and downs. Plus he was getting held back from being aggressive and was just plugging the gap and being passive. He's gonna thrive under diaz's D.

Norton is a big guy but he is capable of making plays behind the line. Looking forward to watching him and McIntosh in this defense.

Nobody recruited Norton as a DT besides us and he's the best DT since Vince?!?! LOL! The kid came in severely out of shape and had a couple nice plays here and there-- big deal. That entire DL has a shot ton to prove. Muhammad has had the most success. Outside of him, guys like Norton, Moten, Jenkins, Thomas, Djax, etc haven't done squat. All hype from cane insight. We'll see if the 4 star and 5 stars can actually do something this year.

Exactly kid was getting penetration on one play and then pushed back the next.
I want more consistency from the DT position

He was a true freshman DT in a busted system. There is going to be inconsistency. Give him some time to grow a mustache. That position takes some time.
