Kendrick Norton waived by Panthers

Every year, same s***. So frustrating to watch.

Can someone with graphic design skill please make a chart/graphic with all the UM kids over last 10 years who left early only to get cut and have no NFL career & make little to no money. Honestly need to plaster this all over these kid's twitters, UM football facility, etc.

He's obviously an above average college player and he would have helped us this year.

Correct. You think Norton was an above average college football player . Basically making you a potato.

Why reply just to repeat what you've already said? The basis for your argument was his stat sheet, which means you have no idea what a 1-tech DT does. There's no point in debating this any further with you.

I honestly feel terrible for him. Such a horrible decision. He would have shot up the charts this year playing next to Willis and having another year of growth under Simpson and Diaz.
I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone that was warned and STILL make a stupid decision. I wish him well, but he was warned and still thought he knew best. Don’t listen to the pros, just listen to an agent that wants to make a quick buck.

No the basis was my eyes because he was average.

Take a poll on this site and see who thinks Norton was above average finally get how dumb that comment looks now?

Norton was above-average. The average college DT doesn’t, or at least shouldn’t, be on a roster at The U. Let alone start. This doesn’t mean he’s NFL caliber. Plenty of ‘great’ college players fail to make NFL rosters. They reach their ceiling in college.

He did make it to the final cutdown. He has some skills. I hope he’s resigned to a practice squad and gets a chance to develop.

No, the basis was the stats. Now that you've been made a fool of, you've changed. I don't need to take a poll on here. Considering 2% of college football players are drafted, he's not average. Considering he was all-ACC 3rd team and honorable mention, he's not average. Considering he was playing here as a true freshman, he's not average. He was foolish to leave early, but was still drafted as a 1-tech defensive tackle 3 years after finishing high school. That's not average.

NFL teams only have 1 cut now so of course he made it to the final cut.

No the basis was I called him average before the stats and you act like 1 techs can’t be productive. I would edit your above average post so you don’t look like a potato. My bad too late

Yes, I realize how an argument works. First you called him average and then defended that position by using stats. I'm not acting like they can't be "productive", I'm saying that's not how they're judged. Any other brilliant comments from you?
