Kendrick Norton waived by Panthers

Hit him up on twitter and tell him UPS hiring in Miami... I know the manager and get him a gig

Lol, you guys are the fools embarrassing yourself saying that a guy who was drafted into the NFL was “average”. Maybe you should understand what that word means first.

If you want to go that route, then nobody in JUCO, D2, FCS or FBS are average either.

If you want to say that somebody who gets drafted in the NFL cannot possibly be average due to the def of average. Then we can't say anybody who makes a D2, JUCO, FCS, or FBS roster is average either.

We were talking average college football player, not an average person. Are you serious?

Your average football player would never even make a JUCO roster. You knew what the other poster meant when he said Norton was average. You wanted to be pedantic.

If he meant something other than "average college football player", then please let me know. I don't make assumptions for people.

I ran into Kendrick's family during halftime of the Orange Bowl game against Wisconsin. I talked with his father about Kendrick going pro or not and he clearly was sold the dream from Kendrick's agent! I told him that I think Kendrick should come back as he likely wouldn't be any higher than a 4th or 5th round pick and would be better served coming back for a year and trying to increase his draft status but his father told me that he was guaranteed going to be drafted 1st or 2nd round! I almost wanted to laugh in his face but didn't want to be rude and make him feel disrespected because he was a really nice guy. But I felt bad for Kendrick and his family making such a momentous decision on such bad information. His agent is a criminal. Hopefully Kendrick can figure it out. Both he and McIntosh should've come back. But definitely Kendrick. At least McIntosh didn't get cut and has a shot. They both could've used 1 more year though and it would have benefitted them assuming they didn't have a serious injury.

Isn't his agent the guy Pete went to work for? Sounds like an upstanding gentleman!

Norton was just picked up by the Dolphins off of the Panthers practice squad. Welcome home
No coincidence that we got gashed for 200+ rush yards last week. Whoever is running the show for the Dolphins has a good eye for DTs (Vincent Taylor and Godchaux are good young players).
