• Top 3 - Louisville, Miami, and USCe
• If he had to commit today he would be going to Louisville
• He has a good relationship with the Louisville coaches
• Wants to commit in early September
• Early playing time is a big factor
• South Carolina has 2 corners and a safety committed right now. They are also recruiting another top target hard (could be Lammons).
• Randolph says the coaches only want to take 2 cornerbacks. He knows he is a plan B for South Carolina.
• South Carolina offered him first & continue to "recruit" him so they're still in his top 3

From Tallahassee Lincoln with an FSU offer?

He must not really have an offer from them.

big uproar over this between FSU and Lincoln. Supposedly FSU told Lincoln that they are full at DB.

We are not recruiting him anymore.

Im shocked because way back when he named his top 5 it was supposedly a UGA and FSU battle for him and I have wanted this kid for some time so im happy. With that said why do you think we aren't recruiting him?

Lol they are full at DB? Then Treon is in for a rude awakening because looking at their commits and they have only Trey Marshall and Malique Jackson committed right now. They are only taking 2 DB's this year?

I've heard from some FSU people I'm semi cool with that FSU is looking at bigger CB closer to 6'0 (which they of course claim as the reason Bethel came to miami)

This is true. Their new DC is from the Nick Saban tree and you know Saban likes big recruits.

Warchant has an article saying they lead for him. So something is wrong here....

Was he doing an interview?

Randolph moves FSU to the top spot

Lincoln defensive back Kendall Randolph's recruitment has been anything but slow. It started with FSU and Auburn being his leaders, then Miami jumped into the mix (his favorite growing up) and then finally Georgia slightly led the Seminoles and Gamecocks. Now it appears that Randolph has a new leader and a decision might not be too far behind.

"Florida State is my number one school. I have a good comfort level with the staff. Also it's a very defensive back friendly type of system, so I like that a lot," he said. "I talk to FSU a good amount over the phone since I haven't had a chance to go over there because we have been doing workouts. We (Pruitt) have just a general conversation and sometimes we will talk about schemes. I'm pretty close on a decision. It could come at any time."

Helping aid in that lead is close friend and former teammate North Florida Christian running back Jonathan Vickers, who committed to FSU last week. They've known each other since they were eight years old and played together in the eighth grade at NFC. Could they end up being teammates again?

"Vick is actually legit and my brother. I talked to him about it and I was really excited for him," he said. "We're going to see. It does help a lot with Vickers there now."

Randolph hopes to finish his high school career with a state title. The Trojans were runner-up last year to perennial power St. Thomas Aquinas. He'll try to do that at a different position this year. "I'm going to play some quarterback and receiver this year on offense and then my usual spot on defense at cornerback," he said. "When I came over my freshman year I played quarterback some, then didn't have to do it as much as a sophomore, but as a junior I started a few games. So it's not something that's new."

As far as his natural position, Randolph has fine-tuned his game as a corner by focusing more so on his speed in the off-season.

"My hips and speed are the two areas I focused the most on this off-season. I've seen a lot of progress in our workouts. I've been mostly working on press at the line of scrimmage, technique in having the right hand placement and footwork as you can always get better," he said.
