Kelvin Harris says “a couple” of coaches have turned down OC position

No you do not. Former player or poster turned insider, who to believe ....
Yes I do. I am no insider. I am heavily connected to the BOT. I can tell you this... Manny and Flake do not have Carte Blanche anymore. There have been no formal offers. It is possible that some might have turned down an invitation to interview but no one has been formally offered. Check my posts from a year ago from right before Richt resigned. I don’t make **** up.

I'm expecting Ponce until Manny proves its not him. He checks all the manny boxes. Homeboy. Never called plays. One year in the P5. Won't destroy his career if he's fired with manny after a year.
I don't believe Manny can hire whoever he wants anymore, Blake probably can tell he's out of here if Manny has another 2019 season in him, So this time we will have an actual search, that doesn't mean we will be satisfied, but I don't think we will end up with UL QB coach

$$$ solves everything. Put enough out there and you can get a good coach.
Lies. You'll still have to watch the best recruits in your own backyard be bought off with impugnity by the SEC and won't be able to do a a dam thing about it.

Agreed.

The Athletic Department has to do an extensive background check into any potential OC candidate. They don't need to know what type of system he runs but they most certainly need a track record of that person's public statements on diversity, gender equity and must have shown a desire to hire a female position coach at some point during their tenure at UM.

That's gonna take a couple weeks to shake out IMO.

Does the female have to be born a female?

If you’re betting on this hire, the safe money would be on Manure fcking it up.
At this point, I wouldn’t put it past Manny to:
1. Hire Thomas Brown as the OC
2. Hire Jon Richt as the OC
3. Make Patke the OC, along with being the ST and Striker coach

every day that goes by I expect the Miami football program to get progressively worse with Manny and Blake James overseeing it

Our only real hope is Manure getting lucky like Orgeron and finding an unknown who winds up being a scheming play calling savant.

I think it's actually not hard to identify the best candidate. Bill Bedenbaugh. We need the OL recruiting along with the Oklahoma style offense. The whole "he never called" plays schtick is worn out.

Playcalling experience is overrated. We just had 2 of the most experienced playercallers in CFB come through the program, both of which where QB whisperers. Richt won a national title as an OC and had Heisman winners. Enos came from one of the most impressive football dynasties in the history of CFB. If you think playcalling experience matters then you would probably agree with Enos that scheme is irrelevant. I say scheme is vastly more important than playcalling experience. Why? Because a good scheme that sets up favorable matchups on every down makes it easier for the OC so he doesn't have be the Stephen Hawking of playcalling and outthink the DC.

There is no chance that Bedenbaugh will call plays at Oklahoma. And I seriously doubt they will pay the co-OC 1.7 million. Miami could offer him far more money and playcalling. And even if Diaz gets fired, it doesn't hurt Bedenbaugh as he wont share the blame and he will end up at another P5 school calling plays.

I think a lot of OCs saw our QB situation and said, "I'm not in the mood for career suicide."
Why are all of you scapegoating the QBs at every chance you get? No run blocking or pass blocking makes any QB look awful. I just don't know what we have at QB until we get some decent blocking.

Oh, I get they didn't have a lot of help at times. However, what I witnessed all year, time after time, was when they DID have time, they still made bad throws and stupid decisions. Like Williams deciding to run the **** ball instead of throwing it up for grabs to end the half. That's football 101. Enos was bad, but when your QBs can't understand basic fundamentals, how the **** are you going to work with that?

These fools don’t even bother checking timelines before spouting off. Manure supposedly offered Bobo the job while Bobo was HC at CSU and while Penos was still the OC here.

On top of that, why the fck would anyone with half a brain believe Manure would offer the job to one of Rick’s best buddies and his protege? Especially after trashing Rick with slick comments repeatedly? Dopes.

With all due respect to dbc if you believe this bs you’re retarded. The timelines don’t matchup.

Also don’t you think it would’ve been leaked out by coaches / agents trying to get raises?

Come on people.
