College football is in shambles. Fans all expect Nick Saban results but it’s just not reality. This is closer to the NFL than ever before. Multiple losses will become the norm for all teams. Fans need to recalibrate their expectations

And schools need to recalibrate their coaching expenditures.

These huge buyouts are ludicrous, funded by boosters or apparel companies or whomever.

This Kelly thing is going to implode on LSU is it's going to be terrific.

- Unable to take any staff (of note) from ND
- Reputation from ND as unlikeable and the antithesis of a players' coach
- Is not big into recruiting

He might do well, but I think he's an awful fit for LSU.

He did well at Notre Dame because ND as an institution is structured as a top down chain of command where the HC is superimposed as the autonomous authority figure, basically he’s the Head Priest of the program.

I appreciate that that at LSU top 20 isn’t good enough. The fact that they’re so willing to spend the money to make changes, albeit their mistakes, it’s the type of thing fans can get behind.
