Nov 8, 2024

We’ve got a little over a month to go until Signing Day, and the Canes are pushing for a big close. Here is a quick update on recruiting:

Kellen Wiley Jr Sr Szn Highlights

His movement skills at 6'4 220 are very impressive. And he doesn't shy away from contact, which is the right mentality at LB.

Hope the Canes can sign him.

I haven't read the thread, but is Wake Forest the first stadium experience at UM for him?

If we can finish with Wiley jr and Alford it would definitely be an Elite LB class.

In a couple years hopefully be alot better than we have now! Maybe fill some gaps, wrap up, and decent on coverage! Been what 7,8 years since we had a decent LB!?

Yesterday’s price is not today’s price (Thanks to Texas)

I expect Miami to come thru in the end. He’d be the best LB in this class by quite a stretch.

Sark owns Mario on the trail.

Time to change that. Wiley looks like he can make an immediate impact, our current LB class is…well never mind. People will get upset.

Lacks high end athleticism is a fair diagnosis of the current commits.

Nix is a slightly more athletic Flagg imo. Very cerebral dude
