Keith Heckendorf....1st OC Rumor to Surface..

I watched his o a few times and I was really impressed.

Hes been following all of the guys mentioned above so I don’t think it’s anything new and probably meaningless. I like the Fedora system but Im skeptical of his experience and his recruiting ability.

Keith Heckendorf...

1st name to surface for OC:

Arkansas State OC, QB Coach, Passing Game Coordinator....A Fedora Disciple.

Twatter follows include...Mandy, Brevin, TVD, Ford, DJ, Kosi,

So I'm curious. First name to surface where? If I'm going to fall for some b.s I have to know where the "rumor" is coming from before I comment on the coach. If not it's just more bull**** that's already compiling on this board

I like the Ark St. guy did well with UNC with Fedora (tons of injuries their last season there), and I liked that their offenses had years where they were both run heavy and pass heavy depending on what they had.

Did well this year with injuries and 2 different QBs in their first year in system I believe. Played musical qb for first part of year.

Problem is it's not a splash hire.

It's a gamble as any young coordinator would be. But splash hire is irrelevant. Enos was considered a splash hire by most of the sports media and CFB experts, and we all know how that turned out.

Something odd about Arkansas. Either former players who become coaches - or coaches that went through Arkansas somewhere - there's been some really great coaches come out of - or went through there - somewhere - or were born and raised there.

What's the word on a DC?

CIS hates it? Prob a good move lol

Getting him for the cheap allows us to bring in some beast recruiters/technicians at the OL and WR spots, though. At least....I would hope.

How was UNC recruiting classes 2014-2015? He was the recruiting coordinator then. I would assume bad since it was one year
