Who knows if he plays, but he is running on it right now. I will hope he is ready and not spend a moment in thought about turf toe, as I haven't, yet. I hope he's available for A&M. We have a game to win, regardless.

wonder how long he's been running...

I knew this chick once who had Camel Toe…. Never missed any playing time!
Probably never rode the pine either.
He’ll have to decide whether to try mask the pain with injections and finish the run or not. Im hoping it naturally repairs as much as possible by osu
That's what I am thinking. If it's only the pain and he cannot further hurt himself, there are ways to deaden the pain.
Now what they can do, I'm not certain? But I am sure they can do something.
But can he compete? Play like he has? Does he become a detriment, playing? So much to think about. I just hope he can go. Wants to go and can play at 100%.

Woah. A month+ out from having turf toe - is this real life?
I don’t think you understand how debilitating Turf Toe can be.

My son got a grade 2 turf toe injury in October. He’s just getting back to baseball activities now. Missed most of the fall baseball season.

He’s doing light jogging now but can’t sprint yet. It was a grueling rehab process 3x a week for 5 weeks for him.

People that have never had it, or don’t know anyone that has had it, think “it’s a toe, what’s the big deal?” without realizing how important your big toe is to just plain ambulating much less running, sprinting and cutting.

Sorry to hear about your son. You misinterpreted my post. What I was trying to convey was that it was a speedy recovery considering the nature of the injury.

I was reacting to the picture someone posted where I thought Scott was in uniform practicing and was amazed given how it hadn't been much time since he was sidelined with the injury.

So basically, the opposite of what you thought. :)

I used to think the same until it happened to him as I equated it to a jammed finger when you play basketball. Just pull it out and in a week, you are good to go! 😂😂😂

He would’ve been better off breaking the toe. But he got that strain right on the big toe and index toe.

He’s 15 and 6ft tall and every time he went to therapy and they had to message the calf, shin, Achilles and affected area, he looked like one of those big bish when you pull them out of the water and are flopping around on the boat 😂😂😂😂

Poor kid!

So if Keonte can play, mad props especially considering the position and types of athletes he will be playing against.

Ended O.J McDuffie's NFL career.

I am not a doctor and have not researched this, but I know a mild turf toe (sprain) takes days to 2 weeks recovery, a severe toe (partial tear) take 3 to 6 weeks recovery. I assume a full ligament tear is months, but I don't know. Sure, it can be a career ending, but that is not usually the case for young players. In case you haven't figured this out already, the staff doesn't want his status out. Good or bad!

Then why is there more to this post than this?
