Keionte Scott is a psychopath

You do understand what that pose was, yes?

He was doing the Jim Thorpe Award pose.

Caleb Downs wishes he was Keionte Scott

I kinda hate that Downs caused those potential fumbles. He was probably the 5th-6th best defensive player in this game

Easy to look like a world beater safety when you play in the Big 10 and 99% of the teams can’t throw a football forward

He contorts himself like he’s Neo in the Matrix and somehow doesn’t lose any momentum

Someone mentioned Honey Badger the other day I really don’t know that I’ve seen someone play like Scott does
I am not good at the player comp thing but Honey Badger was my fiirst thought because of the multiple ways he impacts a game.

Anyone got this?

Yea I said it tryna find a nickle who was straight savage in the box with no fear.. I know the defenses were different back then I would have tyo rewatch tape to see if he was playing exclusively in box like that or mostly 3rd down/passing downs.. OSU was 2 TEs ALOT and we didnt go 3 Lbs at all.. Keionte really be in the box taking on olineman and setting the edge..

Poyser gets better every single game, and that’s scary. He said that coaches came to him and said they were scared he was a bust and bad eval initially because he couldn’t do their DB drills properly. He admitted to being super raw, and that it was huge jump from G5 to P4. But he is here now.

Also, there was a series later in the game where Popo made like 4 tackles in a row.
At the beginning of the year he looked out of place. I was worried Miami missed on the eval on him and also seeing that #7 jersey didnt help. But as the year went on you could see the difference in his play. And we get him for at least 1 maybe 2 more years

Boys - right before kickoff…do ya’ll see the videos of Jakobe Thomas having a straight episode of adrenaline. The cinematic recaps always focus on him. He’s a straight crash out too. Blessed with Keionte and Jakobe. Hard to replicate those two.
I remember being in Tally and pregame when we ran out he was to himself, while fsu did the horse spear thing and you could tell he was locked in.. Had his best game too.. Came back after and they caught it on cinematic for that game also..

Dope af 3:30 mark

He really stepped up when Scott and Thomas got hurt imo

To me when I start to see a safety driving guys backwards that’s when you know they’re playing with confidence rather than thinking too much

There was that one comment from Saban that stuck out to me earlier this year when he said he doesn’t care if guys miss the tackle as long as they’re not stopping their forward momentum

Even if they miss it forces the offensive player to likely switch direction or slow down and someone else will clean it up

If the defensive player stops his feet then it’s already over for them

To me that’s what this defense does at every single position and it’s just why every yard against us is earned
