This argument would’ve worked wonders for Norvell in 2023 too…recruits must’ve been idiots not to play for him after the heck of a 2023 season they had, right?

The point isn’t to clown on Mario, that’s not what I’m popping in to do…but cmon man. He chose USC and they’re pretty much on point with us as a program. Stop the excuses that make people on here look like uneducated, whiny children and let’s move on.

Not even an apples to apples comparison. Norvell has been at FSU far longer than Riley or Mario.

And yes the point is to always sht on Mario. Are you new here? I can remember like yesterday when Riley won 10 games his first year there. Mario is doing it wrong look At Riley. 3 years later those same posters are as quiet on the subject as a rat shting on cotton.

If you believe in your ability why not make the money now and if you have a good relationship that’s icing on the cake. If your a wr and you know your good and you go to a school with no qb or OL, you still trust the nfl scouts will see the film of you beating dbs consistently but you just aren’t getting the ball. But you made your money to take care of your fam and you can’t predict injuries.

The nfl will find you

And there it is. The year Riley won 10 games guess what he had😂. You see what I mean. People have no memories of things that JUST happened. This board is comical at times. The crazy part is he had the no 1 pick another year and won squat. Unbelievable

And all the people that thumbed up and agreed with the previous post showed the sht on Mario agenda.

he's got 1 family member, a cousin, he refers to as his brother. He's a RS Sr DT who'll likely be gone by the time Pepe gets there.

& i'm 99% sure had he come here, wouldn't have been for mario's pocket change.
 
If I may ...
I think we all understand that it would suck if we don't sign either Pepe or Cantwell. Huge whiff, L, reflects poorly on Mario, etc.
I do not think we need each and every poster to make this point separately. We get it.
 
Like the FSU classes the past couple of years, USC paying recruits for commitments falls apart in Nov -Dec. Hayden Lowe is familiar to us. I have to see them hold onto to a class until signing day to believe it. I realize Pepe has a brother and family connections to USC, but NIL signing day looks a lot different than monthly commitment stipends. I will definitely have my eye on this class close to signing day. They have lost 2 already. Their wins and losses are definitely going to come into play.

Mario will not stop recruiting Pepe and I'm 99.999% sure that he'll have at least one silent visit to the Gables given how close IMG is. That being said, Poly recruits are notoriously hard to flip.

USC had a better season than I was expecting but I guess it’s also hard to flip kids when they’ve already had a huge chunk of their NIL paid before reaching campus.
