Mario coached 1 out of the 5 oline starters for Oregon last year. He was a 6th year senior. The other 4 were transfers/signed by Lanning out of HS.

What does that tell you?

They hired Bowden from ND, and he's VERY aggressive in pushing for early commits.

The Domers had Top 5 classes the past two summers, but eventually the field catches up during the season. I expect the same to happen with USC.

This is a tired narrative.

OSU, Michigan, ND, Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, Texas...all teams that have recruited the position better/had better lines than the Canes since Mario got here.

Has Cristobal improved the position? Yes. But we need to stop with the "well, Mario/Mirabal will take the three-star guys and turn them into studs!" cope when we lose these recruiting battles. They are MUST WINS.
 
We all knew this, but @DMoney confirmed on today's podcast that Miami will continue to recruit Pepe after the dust of the commitment settles down.

Money is blinding these kids totally taking there eyes off the ball .

They all should read Edgerrin James book on money and the NFL how he paid a tremendous price and wanted to save these kids from the love of money blindness.
