The inappropriate way of dealing with this is to write her an email and I don't give a flying **** about whether it's a public mail or not. You weren't touched, you aren't personally affected, so stop getting your knickers twisted that badly.

Threads like this always remind me just how dumb so many people are. Nuance is real, not everything in life is black/white, yes/no, on/off, either/or; yet so many people either can’t or won’t accept this.

With regard to emailing this woman, you CAN email her all you want. Whether or not you SHOULD is a personal decision. Personally, I’m not into cancel culture. People F up all the time, myself included. Barring tragic results, I think forgiveness is a path to healing and improvement. In this case, we are talking about the Gators, so F them. I’m still not sending an email. She’s the recruiting pin cushion at UF. Let the recruits stab away and when they’re done, the good ones can sign with us and leave their goo in Canesville.
