folorunsho of course..he is a liongest of longshots he isnt coming hre n likely never was.Go, if we can only take one between Thompson and Folorunsho, which do you choose?
Folorunsho Is the best DT in this classGo, if we can only take one between Thompson and Folorunsho, which do you choose?
Going to have to hit the portal for DT but Scott has no business declaring as of right now.
I don’t think Thompson would be expensive. He is going to gt and I don’t know much about their nil but I doubt they are throwing around big money. The biggest issue is would Thompson be ****ed that the staff didn’t see him as a take from the jump?
He had miami leading for him. Could’ve got him if they wanted him. I think the kid is better than majority of the DTs they took the last 2 yearsI don’t think Thompson would be expensive. Ya the whole recruitment was weird as it seemed he has literally behind only Lennear and MAYBE Gamble in terms of early attention amongst the locals (I mean his sophomroe and junior year UM seemed to be recruiting the **** out of him) but I guess if you're local and a big body the staff is going to give you that early attention no matter what. Then coming into the summer of his senior year we backed off…. Many have hinted towards the bad weight thing, so maybe that was it?
Every West Boca update from like '24 or early '25 talked about Thompson's mutual Canes interest as much or more than Mallory.

Funny how this didn't come up till after Miami started putting the full court press on Currie? If we land him the Suckeyes will say we bought the kid from up under them.Saying that, Ohio State has kept in contact with Fakatou’s teammate, Kasi Currie, a Texascommit. The Buckeyes were the runner-up for Currie when he chose the Longhorns and although Texas is still in a good place, we have heard the door hasn’t completely shut here. Since becoming teammates over the summer, Fakatou and Currie have become very close and have talked about teaming up in college. Ohio State DL coach Larry Johnson was at Sierra Canyon just last week and reiterated to Currie that they definitely still have a spot for him. It’s tough to put a percentage on how likely something could happen here, but a source close to the recruitment indicated it’s something worth watching closely over the next month.
I mean… we aren’t the only top program trying to flip blue chip recruits. Hearing that Taint has been after this kid the whole time behind the scenes isn’t exactly a surprise.Funny how this didn't come up till after Miami started putting the full court press on Currie? I get that but the kid's been talking US up lately. Says we're recruiting him the hardest, which is why Taint talking noise now lol.I mean… we aren’t the only top program trying to flip blue chip recruits. The interviews can’t be relied on much. 1) the interviewers will ask questions in their certain way and then present the answers how they see fit for their readers. 2) these kids know how to play the game as well.I get that but the kid's been talking us up lately. You still missing the point dude lol. He's only been mentioning US lately. The interviews can’t be relied on much. 1) the interviewers will ask questions in their certain way and then present the answers how they see fit for their readers. 2) these kids know how to play the game as well.
Taint has his teammate committed, you think they haven’t been pressing behind the scenes this whole time? It would be a shock if they haven’t.
Texas has been trying to flip Xavier Muhammad from Michigan too, maybe or maybe not related to Currie’s openness. Just an FYI (not you specifically) regarding the journalist’s bolded point:Saying that, Ohio State has kept in contact with Fakatou’s teammate, Kasi Currie, a Texascommit. Wesley was the backup to Colin Simmons however a recent high-ankle sprain appears to have sidelined him for the rest of the regular season.Following unofficial visits to Texas in January and March, Currie told 247Sports he quickly bonded with Longhorns' players and coaches, in part, because of his connection to former Sierra Canyon teammate Top247 Texas DE Richard Wesley, who reclassified from the 2027 class to the 2026 class.
"You know, really just working with Rich [Wesley] in high school, we got each other better," Currie told CBS Sports/247Sports on Thursday. "He's already at college getting the next-level training, so I just can't wait to get the next-level training, and we both just go crazy."
Maybe USC, Oklahoma- and Michigan for some linemen?Texas, OSU (without Sayin), Oregon... all schools ripe for the picking in a few weeks
I mean… updating list to A&M, miss St. double down on oregon with no QB future.Texas, OSU (without Sayin), Oregon... all schools ripe for the picking in a few weeks
