The kid says he “bleeds maroon and white”. MState is the hometown school, but is there a chance…….

I believe it is entirely possible if he has a good agent for him to talk some business sense into him. Look at the track record we have with quarterbacks, especially the trajectory this year for Mensah. We have seen that you write a blank check when there is an elite quarterback potentially available. You pull out all the stops because that position can make her break not just your season but your program. We have seen this with Cam Ward and Mensah.

I think if this would be a possibility, we would have to be already working behind the scenes. Has anyone heard anything on whether or not we’re trying?

Cam was a Texas kid who leveled up from an FCS school to Wazzu to the U. Business decision.

Beck was a Florida kid who had fallen out of favor at UGA and was looking for a reboot. Again, business decision.

Mensah was a Cali kid who bounced from Tulane to Dook to Miami. Straight business decision.

This ain't Jeremiah Smith potentially coming back home for his last year. Taylor's family been living in that same small Mississippi town forever.

It's alright to love the Canes and College Football and realize it's best for the sport if Super Kamario stays put at Mississippi State

Taylor is Sellers 2 years ago....................and will end up the same
He's one BILLION percent exactly that. I watched their game today entirely for the purpose of seeing what he would look like against valid competition. I gotta say to me this is just the typical thing of the media trying to create another reason to watch sec fooseball. Not impressed at all. Obviously the kids young. Maybe he just had a bad day. But my first impression isn't anything special at all.

For people that claim the SEC is overrated, we sure do have a lot of people on here who jump whenever the propaganda machine spins.

A couple weeks ago, Chambliss was kicking LSU’s teeth in, and suddenly there was a thread full of people saying he was a better QB than Mensah. For the next week, all you heard about was this dude. Then he chokes, along with the rest of his team, against UF, the same UF team Austin Simmons smoked today.

These SEC teams aren't as good as they're made out to be, and there’s a reason Chambliss fought to get back into college instead of going to the NFL.

People can b"tch about the SEC/ESPN hype all they want, but they sure do fall for it every time.

I agree SEC teams aren't as strong as they appear. FSU scored 36 on Bama.

They get credit because ESPN sets them up by ranking 10-12 teams in the top 25 at the start of the season. This way, losses to other SEC ranked teams don't hurt you.
