Good pickup. Give him a shot at safety - I can't give an opinion there from the highlights lacking coverage - but worst case he's also a really good looking LB prospect.

Here we go again, some of y'all are already starting to talk like this 3 star dude is going to be All American. I am hoping he is depth material at worst and we land better. Hope he turns in AA, but time will tell. We have to stop getting hard ons for 3 star guys.
If we're evaluating properly than we can be happy cuz he'll turn into a contributor. The heavyweight programs all have a handful of 3 star kids who make a difference, we haven't had enough of then and that trend needs to change.

Maybe not everybody is as negative as you are. If you’re a true fan, there’s nothing wrong with feeling optimistic after the program received some much needed good news.

We need em…

Get as much talent in here as possible for competition. That room needs an *****.
IDK, happy to have them, but that's a lot in 1 class. You have Wesley, Chase, and Flagg all with at least 2 more years of eligibility. That puts 2-3 from 2023 at minimum of 3rd on the depth chart which could affect 2024 LB recruiting.

It's definitely refreshing when we've struggled to recruit at the position for so many years under a HC that coached LBs.

I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Spencer on why he flipped to Miami

“First off it’s Miami,” Spencer said. “I have always loved their program from the greats that came from the U at my position. Addae really put the foot on the gas in recruiting me. I loved everything he was offering me and it’s on the east coast. It felt like it was a better opportunity for me and my family.”

Strong relationship with coaching staff

“It’s all love and genuine, and we are all ready to work,” Spencer said. “I think me and coach Addae have the best relationship right now.”
Spencer impressed during a Broward County National Showcase in late August, with his team earning a hard-fought 21-6 win over Ft. Lauderdale

247Sports Southeast Analyst Andrew Ivins wrote the following about Spencer from that performance as he compared him to former Clemson star Isaiah Simmons: “Spencer isn't as big or long as Simmons (he's listed at 6-foot-2.5, 210 pounds), but he has a chance to impact games just like Simmons did for Venables a few years ago as he's a second-level defender that can not only run the alley and stuff gaps, but also rush the passer and hang with most tight ends/bigger wide receivers in 1-on-1 coverage.”

For those of you against this commit, you really think a HC who has landed McClain, Mauigoa, Bryant, Jackson, Stafford, Wayne, Williams, is giving out scholarship offers to JAG’s? You guys must be out of your f-cking minds if you think Mario and Zo and Steele give out scholarships to kids for depth or special teams. That does not mean our hit rate will be 100%. There are too many variables outside of a coach’s control. But we aren’t “filling spots” or “adding depth”.

The people running this program do not think that way.
